No Voter-ID Means More Democrat Voters in November

A recent Washington Post poll showed that “74 percent of Americans favor government-issued photo ID mandates at polling places.” This meant little to CNN because the network, whose ratings are in the proverbial toilet, ignored those numbers “in six separate segments on voter ID laws.”

A majority of Americans believe that showing identification is simply common sense when identification is necessary to identify someone. When it comes to voting, liberals are incensed that anyone would have to prove who they are. If we were all saints, and a person’s word could be trusted, then showing an ID would be unnecessary. But that would be true for all types of calls for identification.

Elections are about money and power. Elected officials have control over our lives and property with laws they pass. Millions of people vote to empower people to take money from some people and give it to them. This makes them accomplices to theft. It’s little different from hiring someone to break into a neighbors house to steal money.

If a person is willing to vote for people to take money from other people, why do we think they will be honest about who they are? Who’s to say that they won’t vote more than once or scheme to use the names of dead people and pets to increase the vote for a candidate? Am I making this up? Voter registration forms were “mailed to hundreds of dead Virginians, children, non-citizens, pets, and others ineligible to vote.”

A judge in Pennsylvania had enough good sense to see through liberal outrage and upheld a law requiring that voters show identification. Judge Robert Simpson wrote, “Thus the photo ID requirement of Act 18 is a reasonable, nondiscriminatory, nonsevere burden when viewed in the broader context of the widespread use of photo ID in daily life.”

Are there political motives on each side of the issue? Of course there are. But that doesn’t change reality. Some people are liars and thieves in both parties.

The Justice Department’s civil rights division shot down a new photo ID requirement for voters in Texas because many Hispanic voters lack state-issued identification. A similar edict from the Justice Department was leveled against South Carolina.

When I saw the doctor to be treated for a sinus infection, I had to show my driver’s license and insurance card. On my way to work a few weeks ago, the police set up a road block to check insurance cards and driver’s licenses. I wonder if the Hispanics didn’t have to show any ID. (Of course, I’m not in favor of random ID checks. I only mention this to make a point.)

Every time I fly, I have to show my ID two times before I can board the plane. When I checked into the hotel, I was asked for my ID and a valid credit card. While in Las Vegas, I set up two business bank accounts. They wanted a whole lot of IDs. Last week I went to a different bank branch to cash a check, and the teller asked for my ID and wrote my license number on the check.

Here’s a convenient list of where you will need an ID:

Donating Blood

Gun Shop

Cashing a Check

Adoption Agency

Social Security Office

Pawn Shops

Using a Credit Card

Union Elections

Here’s where liberals say you shouldn’t need an ID: In the voting booth where people choose candidates to make laws for all of us. Is it too much to ask that we want to know if they are who they say they are and haven’t voted in the place of someone else or have voted six times? I don’t think so.

Voter ID should be a requirement by every state! After all, the states are in charge of the voting, not the Washington government. And if they don’t like it, challenge it in a court of law. I know they’ve done this, but we need impartial judges that will uphold the constitution!

Someone should stop the Justice Dept. from changing the law about ID’s. I don’t care how old you are, you should have something that will ID you! As old as you are we know you can get an ID many ways. Only DemoRats wanted this repealed because they cannot vote 4—–5-6 times as they did in 2008 and those without an ID cannot vote over and over. With the administration we now STILL have, I’m sure they will find ways to vote many, many ways over and over. I only hope the people at the polls know what they are supposed to do, or we will have this same dum dum back and then we will all be convicted of something and probably be put in a Concentracion camp, where ever he has been building them.

In or about 606AD Caltholic were called Christians: Meaning those who follow Jesus, and hs commdments. At time they changed their name to Catholic. Meaning Universal./ They are the ones who did not want to be called Christians (See Act. in NT) The fact is Jesus did not come to start a religion, but to give salvation to all man kind who calls out to Jesus, and follow his rules, commdments, and love him with all your Heart. About the same time because of various changes a Council came up with the Apostle’s Creed (What the church should believe in) The Word Catholic was changed to UniversiaL Meaning World wide. Which in my opinion it would in-close all churches who believe in Jesus. This Word causes TO seperate. Who knows who will enter Heaven? Are you reborn?. There are real Christian in all Christian religions. Just like there are Fakes, Phonies, who just love the money, and no work. Who made you the Judge? If you have Jesus in your heart, and follow him, and his laws, and instructions… Have Peace your heart, and home, You carry his messaqge of Salvation Mat 29:19, John 3:16, John 15 1-all. If you have a Bible it is a good start.. Bring a Christian is a way of life…Not just a title which just leads you into Religion, not Salvation, and Jesus Chist. Our Lord and Savior, and the DOOR TO HEAVEN. ARE YOU a REAL CHRISTIAN?????? LOVE THY NEIGHBOR

Thanks for a good commentary Rev.. There are those among us like Raymond that will not support Romney because they don’t believe Mormons and Catholics are Christians. His misinformed sheep will also stay at home. We don’t need this dissension in the party. Staying at home because they believe Romney is not a Christian is a vote for Obama. I would vote for Romney if he practiced Hinduism or Buddhism. He’s a kind and decent man. I hope these imbeciles like Raymond and his misinformed sheep enjoy four more years of Obama’s Hope and Change Marxism

YES… it causes hardship on the poor, but at present too many dead demo”s are voting? Just like Jesus ..They came back to vote. Jesus came back not to vote, but to proof he is alive, and people still see him, and feel his love. peace, If you don’t feel him is because you don’t believe….

Liberals don’t like being identified at the polls? When was that ever news, seriously who in their right mind would want to say that they are liberal? That is like a guy goes into a bar and says that he has warts, with a case of the black plague, and then asks a girl to take a cold infectious shower with him so he can show her his “trophies”(I.E each and every rash pimple, zit, and wart) Wait a minute did i just make a Battletoads reference?? Sadly, yep i think i did(rash, zits and pimple) Okay, nevermind…

CALL YOUR GOVERNORS AND TELL THEM YOU DEMAND THAT A PICTURE ID BE REQUIRED IN YOUR STATE TO BE ABLE TO VOTE – PERIOD! THE FRAUD and the Dems are doing this on purpose and we all know it – The voice of the people carry a lot further than THE FRAUDS CRONY POLITICS! CALL – DEMAND IT TODAY – or tell your GOVERNORS YOU WILL NOT VOTE FOR THEM ON THEIR RE-ELECTIONS! They should be following Jan Brewers LEAD!

What a joke .. This makes you wonder just how legitimate our elections really are , apparently it’s too hard to come by a document that EVERYONE should have in the first place .. How in the world does it get to this point ? I guess that we have to look no further than our elected Democrats , who seem to benefit greatly by this enormous lapse in politcal judgement .. Let’s throw all of these idiots out of Washington .. I think that they would be much more valuable to the AMERICAN citizens if they lived and worked with these same ILLEGAL voters .. They could run for village council in their backwards border communities .. Good luck America .. We’ll need it ..

  • TheSunDidIt

Only criminals maintain that they need the right to not be ID’d.

    • Julie E. Hoffman

Well that puts all the Democrats in the criminal category.

  • Daniel Ward

It dose not meen fewer voters, just fewer votes. One person will not ba able to vote for all of their pets and dead relitives any more.

I read a post yesterday, Romney and Obama surrogates trade barbs over Romney and Obama attend church services.” Since when has Obama attended church. For the past three and ahalf years he hasn’t attended church. Does election season have something to do with it?

One thing I do remember about LBJ, is this, “The dead have a right to vote!”
So now know why the Dems do not want Voter I.D.!

  • Wddogger

don’t forget!  photo IDs are also required to get in to the Democratic National Convention.

  • Jo

The Dems are requiring photo I.D.’s at their convention and it’s not considered racist, but in order to steal votes they are demanding NO voter I.D.’s be required when voting, because that is racist. How can they have it both ways and get by with it in the courts.
