Dictators Endorse Barack Obama for Re-Election

Well, if there was any doubt about where Obama stands in the spectrum of political philosophy, it will be eradicated with this news: Vladimir Putin has endorsed Barack Obama in the 2012 reelection. Yeah, that's right. The man who invaded The Republic of Georgia for no apparent reason; the man who controls the state media; the man who rigs elections; and the man who runs on a seemingly permanent power trip is endorsing our president. Seem a bit odd?

But this endorsement simply follows even more extreme endorsements from other world leaders in recent weeks. Raul Castro's daughter, in a move I strongly believe is supported by her father, threw her support behind the president, saying this:

“I believe that Obama needs another opportunity and he needs greater support to move forward with his projects and with his ideas, which I believe come from the bottom of his heart."

But the most staggering endorsement comes from the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez (who recently "won" yet another election). In an interview, Chavez remarked: "Obama is a good guy" and went on to essentially endorse Barack Obama for reelection, and said he was sure Obama would vote for him if he could.

Is it just me, or is there a problem here? Let me answer that for you--yes, there is a problem. The policies Barack Obama has put into place mirror the beliefs of these dictatorships. Vladimir Putin, Hugo Chavez, and Raul Castro all run their countries as Marxist dictatorships. Some appear worse than others, but the through-line is pretty clear.

When an American president has world dictators lavishing praise and endorsements on him, what does that say about that president? It speaks volumes. It says that our president speaks to their radical beliefs in some way, and that our country, in time, will likely fall as far as they have into socialist doctrine and eventual corruption.

This will all take time, but if we keep going down the path we're on, it is a sure bet. What's more, these psychopaths have political histories as sordid as an episode of Rubicon. These are men who lie and cheat and kill as if it's their second nature. An endorsement from them is an endorsement from hell.

So, I'd really recommend that if you get an endorsement from a dictator, it may be best to reexamine your policies going forward. Just a thought, Mr. President.
