Democrat Congressman Wants Congress to Restrict Free Speech

Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) told an accepting and eager crowd of supporters that “corporations control the patterns of thinking” in America.

As Deep Throat said, “Follow the Money.” According to OpenSecrets.org, Johnson received money from a number of “corporations.” For example:

  • Bank of America
  • Coca-Cola Co.
  • General Dynamics
  • Microsoft
  • Comcast
  • Cox Enterprises

To be clear, “The organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organizations’ PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals’ immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.”

If Johnson is serious about what he thinks of corporations, then he should refuse any money that comes from them either directly or indirectly. In fact, it would be a good idea to send Rep. Johnson’s comments to the corporations that have funded his campaign. Maybe they will direct their PACs to send their money elsewhere. Don’t count on it. Democrats need people they can control.

In addition, Johnson received a load of contribution money from Industrial Unions, Lawyers and Law Firms, and Public Sector Unions.

In addition to being a total idiot on the subject of what corporations do, Johnson went on to say that the Bill of Rights, found in the Constitution that he took an oath to uphold, should be amended so that the government (that would be him) is given the power to restrict freedom of speech. Freedom of speech for me, but not for thee.

“We need a constitutional amendment to allow the legislature to control the so-called free speech rights of corporations.”

This is the same Hank Johnson who was worried that too many people on the island of Guam would tip it over:

“In a discussion regarding a planned military buildup on the Pacific island, Johnson expressed some concerns about the plans [of] Adm. Robert Willard, head of the U.S. Pacific fleet. “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,’ Johnson said.”

With a straight face, keeping his composure so as not to burst out laughing, “Willard paused and replied, ‘We don’t anticipate that.’”

Johnson was re-elected in the 4th Congressional District of Georgia with 73.6 percent of the vote a district that went heavily for Obama.

Say, aren’t the above-cited corporations wholly-owned or partially-owned by George Soros?

No matter, our freedom of speech should never been lost. Let alone taken by an Obama-wannabe from Georgia. I’m surprised that the good Christian people of Georgia haven’t put this mad dog down. He’s insane.

America will never give up their freedoms. Especially freedom of speech!

Maybe they should require a sanity test for our politweasels instead of worrying about their finances. An IQ test would be good, too, but none of them would pass it.

Makes you wonder how these people actually function. Stupidity abounds in our nation, and we’re just helping it along by actually giving these people credence.
