The Rampaging Gunman That Liberalism Built

Usually by now we would be inundated with stories in the mainstream media about how the latest mass murder spree was the result of the Tea Party or Sarah Palin, but in the case of Christopher Dorner, that entire stream of story lines is missing.

That's because Dorner left behind a 22-page (not 11-page) manifesto that makes it impossible to pretend he is anything but a dyed-in-the-wool liberal.

It's so clear, in fact, that most media outlets have posted a "redacted" version of the manifesto that not only eliminates the names of targeted police officers but also erases the pages of praise for celebrities, talk show hosts, the Obama Administration and liberal causes.

The media always seem to cast the criminal in these sorts of cases as a conservative, and they're always wrong. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, the nut job is far left politically if he's anything.

But even in the cast of liberal shooters, Dorner stands out. Rather than being some addlepated student strung out on psychotropic drugs for a mental illness probably caused by too much TV, Dorner is coldly coherent and entirely self-possessed.

His manifesto makes clear that Dorner is someone who decided early on that he was going to go through life as a victim and be proud of it:

"Journalist, I want you to investigate every location I resided in growing up. Find any incidents where I was ever accused of being a bully. You won't, because it doesn't exist. It's not in my DNA. Never was. ...

"My first recollection of racism was in the first grade ... in Norwalk, CA. A fellow student ... called me a n***** on the playground. My response was swift and non-lethal. I struck him fast and hard with a punch an kick. ... The principal swatted *** for using a derogatory word toward me. He then for some unknown reason swatted me for striking *** in response to him calling me a n*****. He stated as good Christians we are to turn the other cheek as Jesus did. Problem is, I'm not a f*****g Christian and that old book, made of fiction and limited non-fiction, called the bible, never once stated Jesus was called a n*****.

"How dare you swat me for standing up for my rights for demanding that I be treated as a equal human being. That day I made a life decision that i will not tolerate racial derogatory terms spoken to me. Unfortunately I was swatted multiple times for the same exact reason up until junior high."

Information released by the police indicates that Dorner, a former Navy reservist, was a poor police officer with a history of mistakes, including shooting himself in the hand during academy training. He was finally fired after he reported that a fellow officer kicked a suspect and the police review determined the incident didn't occur.

The manifesto is causing problems for the media's usual story line about a gunman who's insane. Even CNN's Don Lemon admitted that Dorner "wasn't crazy when he wrote his manifesto."

Although Dorner does talk about being depressed, his writings are coherent, even methodical at points. He is very clear about his intentions to harm those people on his list and their families, while he urges others to stay out of his way:

"Outside agencies and individual officers on patrol. If you recognize my vehicle, and confirm it is my vehicle thru a dmv/want warrant check. It behoves you to respond to dispatch that your query was for information purposes only. If you proceed with a traffic stop or attempt to notify other officers of my location or for backup you will not live to see the medal of valor you were hoping to receive for your actions. Think before you attempt to intervene. You will not survive. Your family will receive that medal of valor posthumously."

Dorner means business. He's not a former SEAL, but his Navy career included counterinsurgency training, and he has claimed to have a rocket launcher and a .50-caliber rifle, a true assault weapon that can shoot 5-inch bullets three miles with accuracy.

If there's one thing Dorner clearly is not, it's insane. Everything that is known about him indicates a person who has carefully chosen his path and has the nerve and ability to follow it.

Whatever he was, he has chosen evil, and that makes him the most dangerous animal of all.

Do not forget that he murdered the daughter of one of his intended targets, along with that girl's fiancee. She was probably totally unaware of this man's existence, until he walked up and murdered her and her betrothed in cold blood. While he does indeed deserve a day in court, and there is no doubt that LAPD is very corrupt, and no doubt did screw him over, he also deserves to die if his convicted.

Next time some libtard asks you why you need an "assault weapon", tell them it is to protect yourself from Obama voters like Chris Dorner.

If Obama had really had a son, I think he would have looked like Chris Dorner.

The LAPD is not corrupt. I worked for it for 26+ years. Did and does it have some officers who should be fired? You bet. I worked internal affairs for four years and helped fire thieves, drug dealers, burglars, insurance frauds and yes even three murders, but that was 8-10 out of thousands. I'll lay a lot of those problems at a consent decree on hiring standards lowering our previous higher standards. The department had 8,000+ sworn employees who carried guns. Name me any other organization with that many people which doesn't have issues? But corrupt, no. Try and get a ticket fixed. In New York, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia? Easy. Try it in LA and you'll probably find yourself arrested again. Ask a police officer to look the other way while you do drugs, and he might, just long enough to call for back-up to arrest you.

I wondered why you didnt hear much about the gun slant to this story.
