Nanny Bloomberg Denied Second Slice of Pizza

We all would like to see New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg get a taste, or should I say a lack of taste, of his own dietary medicine.

I thought it was a joke when I first came across the story. It is a joke. Even so, it’s a funny story that we all wish had happened and hope one day it does. Hats off to the folks at the Daily Currant for making my day. My wife and I had a good laugh.

The fictional story reports that Bloomberg was denied a second slice of pizza from the owners of Collegno's Pizzeria in Brooklyn. The owners refused to serve the diet-for-you-but-not-for-me mayor when he ordered a second slice of pizza. (We know Bloomberg consumes more calories than he needs when no one is looking.)

The sauce for the gander action was in protest of Bloomberg's proposed soda ban that would affect pizzerias and every other restaurant in New York City.

If I ever get to visit Brooklyn, and if there is a Collegno’s Pizzeria, it will be one of the restaurants I’ll visit. I love New York-style pizza. I frequent Johnny’s New York Style Pizza in Marietta, Georgia, where I live. Delizioso!

The mayor was not happy about the denial, the story reports. He should be able to eat what he wants; it’s his body, and he’s paying for it, and he was hungry. He protested that he hadn’t eaten all morning and was famished. He wanted that second slice!

While the owners were respectful of the mayor, they stood their ground. “No second slice for you.”

Here’s how the fictional story was reported by the Daily Currant:

“OK, that's funny,” Mayor Bloomberg remarked, “because of the soda thing ... Now come on. I'm not kidding. I haven't eaten all morning, just send over another pepperoni.”

“I'm sorry sir. We're serious,” Benito insisted. “We've decided that eating more than one piece isn't healthy for you, and so we're forbidding you from doing it.”

“Look jackass,” Bloomberg retorted, his anger boiling, “I f*#king skipped breakfast this morning just so I could eat four slices of your pizza. Don't be a schmuck, just get back to the kitchen and bring out some f*#king pizza, okay.”

“I'm sorry sir, there's nothing I can do,” the owner repeated. “Maybe you could go to several restaurants and get one slice at each. At least that way you're walking. You know, burning calories.”

How would Benito know the mayor hadn’t eaten? He had to take the mayor’s word for it. The same could be said about the soda ban. “Hey, I haven’t had a sugary drink all day.”

While the story is fictional, it’s still funny and spot-on in explaining how politicians work. They create laws for others (ObamaCare) while excluding themselves.

"Tyranny for thee but not for me. I'll retire on a big fat government pension that you taxpayers will fund."

  1. All of the restaurants in New York should do this to him and only him...give him a taste of his own medicine

    • And every meal Nanny Bloombutt orders should be a childs portion!

      • 2 ounces of protein, one tablespoon of veggies, no bread, no butter, no dessert, no salt, no soda because it's not good for you. Oh heaven, I wish NY would do this.

      • Devasahayam says:

And that, based on Uttar Pradesh guidelines for Indian 6-month-old!

  2. If it were true, I wouldn't be surprised. Funny either way!

  3. Typical liberal ,,,,, funnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  4. Americanpride says:

Naw , that creep is a steak an lobster man , thanks to his slaves in NY...they eat peanut butter....

  5. El Poder de Cristo Te Obliga! says:

    Way to go, Benito! Brahahahahaha!
You are onto something that could be colossal here. This is priceless!

  6. Oh how I wish this were true !! Makes a good story.

  7. Wouldn't serve him in the first place.

    • i am kinda with you Ron G

    • How about this. He can order anything he wants, and pay the same as anyone else. However, he only gets the parts of the order that he has never attempted to ban. I suspect someone would have to quote the bill because not even the paper would survive the 'good for you' test.

  8. i can see this puke really saying something like that. / he looks like a real libo puke /

  9. USA Lover says:

He is such a knob he wouldn't be able to find real NY style pizza if he was out walking on his own!

  10. Is there ANYTHING Conservatives won't swallow? And I don't mean pizza.

    • Looks like you're the one doing the swallowing. If you'd actually READ the article you'd see that it's just satire, even says so at the beginning.

      • You're right. However it has the same effect as all the other propaganda on this site. Righties will cite this as fact in 2 weeks. It's what they do.

  11. I f this story is know to be just a made up fable why all the fuss??

    Maybe Bush did it, right!!

  12. I'd love to see that actually happen. Heck, I'd pay real money to see ol' Bloomturd get a dose of his own medicine.

  13. Somebody flush the 'suds' down the toilet, getting VERY tired of this pos libturd.

    • If ANYONE would come close to refuting my posts intellectually, you'd wouldn't resent me so much. I'm really a sweet guy!

  14. Sorry folks, this would never happen. The result of this incident would be his honor would use the city inspectors to make the offending restaurant owner's life a living hell. That is what comes of socialism. We need an uprising of all citizens before it is too late. Just who will the new 30 million plus illegal aliens that are set to get amnesty vote for? More socialism that will lead to communism. Bloomberg is a throwback to those of his ilk that created communism in Russia.

  15. Nanny Bloomberg needs and deserves a taste of his own medicine. The good people of New York are not Bloomberg's children and he needs to do his job and leave the people of New York alone. It is bad enough that they will be paying his salary for the rest of his life once he retires.
