Boehner Compromising With Obama AGAIN!!!

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) is once again proving that he does not stand for the Republican Party or the people of this country.

A core group of Republican Representatives are saying that they will allow the federal government to shutdown in October if Obamacare is not defunded.  Eighty of the 233 Republican members of the House sent a letter to Boehner urging him to stand with them on the issue of not funding the implementation of Obamacare, even if it means a government shutdown.

It’s a certainty that Obama and Democratic controlled Senate will not accept any kind of budget or spending plan that excludes the funding for Obamacare.  They are dead set on not compromising one bit on the issue and will allow the government to shut down.  However, in their usual hypocritical and lying ways blame the shutdown on the Republicans and tell the American people that it was the GOP who refused to compromise for the good of the people.

In typical spineless fashion, Boehner is already backing down from Obama and the Democrats.  On a conference call this week to fellow House Republicans, Boehner told them:

“Our intent is to move quickly on a short-term continuing resolution [CR] that keeps the government running and maintains current sequester spending levels.”

This is the same thing Boehner kept doing with the deficit ceiling crisis.  He kept pushing a short-term resolution because the Democrats promised they would entertain a compromise in the near future.  But that never happened.  Boehner kept backing down and backing down, signing one short-term resolution after another.  The Democrats never intended to compromise and everyone in the country except Boehner knew it.  I would love to play poker with Boehner as I could most likely bluff him into bankruptcy, which is exactly what the Democrats are doing to him.

If the rest of the House Republicans had any sense, they would oust Boehner as Speaker of the House and make him Squeaker of the House for the little mousy politician he is.  The GOP needs a strong leader to replace him.  They need someone who won’t back down from the Democratic threats and someone who will stand toe-to-toe with Obama, look him in the face and say NO!
