Is Barack Obama Threatening to Support Terrorists with More Weapons and Money?

obama putin 2 Didn’t we support terrorists in Afghanistan (or people who became terrorists) in order to create a “quagmire” for Russian troops? Here is CNN’s headline: “Obama: Russia heading for 'quagmire' in Syria.” When I read that headline I don’t see how any Russian could hear these words and not think about U.S. policy in Afghanistan. In other words, they sound like Barack Obama is warning Putin that he will support terrorists in Syria (or support more of them, or give them more support) Read more [...] Continue reading →

Russia Strikes in Syria, Tells U.S. to Get Out of Way

U.S. Democratic Senator John Kerry peeks from behind the curtain as he is introduced to address a town hall meeting at the University of South Carolina in Columbia January 30, 2004. Kerry, on a roll after winning the first two Democratic presidential contests, has opened big leads in Missouri and Arizona and is challenging for the top spot in South Carolina and Oklahoma, according to a Reuters/MSNBC/Zogby poll released on Friday. John Kerry was actually in the process of speaking with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about coordinating Russian military movements in Syria with the U.S. airstrikes against ISIS, when the Russians sent a lackey to the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. The lackey's message? We've started bombing; one side, please. I would have liked to have seen Kerry's Read more [...] Continue reading →

Trained Moderates Turn over U.S. Arms, Vehicles to Al Qaeda in Syria

mccain Syrian terrorists We trained moderates to fight in Syria and they gave terrorists our weapons and trucks as soon as they entered the country. Here is another chapter in the story we have been reading for years, as reported this time in The Telegraph, “US-trained Division 30 rebels 'betrayed US and hand weapons over to al-Qaeda's affiliate in Syria'” Pentagon-trained rebels in Syria are reported to have betrayed their American backers and handed their weapons over to al-Qaeda in Syria immediately after re-entering Read more [...] Continue reading →

One Year Ago Today We Started Bombing Syria; ISIS Still Alive and Well

bomb syria What have we accomplished by bombing Syria to defeat ISIS? Mostly just stimulus for the munitions industry. A few days ago I posted about our attempts to train and arm soldiers to fight against ISIS. The results were expensive and useless. But we have also been pursuing another means of dealing with ISIS. A year ago today we began bombing Syria thinking that, if we blew up enough ISIS locations, we would hurt the group. The Charles Koch Institute website explains, The strikes were launched Read more [...] Continue reading →

Report: Drones Have Killed More Yemen Civilians than Al Qaeda

Drones_02 Barack Obama’s drones are arguably an instrument of terrorism. Since the report is from the United Nations I have to admit I would like confirmation. Still, it is important news that needs to be investigated. Samuel Oakford writes for Vice News, “The UN Says US Drone Strikes in Yemen Have Killed More Civilians Than al Qaeda.” At first I thought the headline meant deaths worldwide, but that isn’t possible. It is referring to deaths in Yemen. American drone strikes may have killed as Read more [...] Continue reading →

America, These Are Your Allies? Saudi Arabia Crucifixion for a Man Arrested as a Teen

Obama Saudi bow While we hear of Saudi Arabia crucifixion, Saudi involvement in 9-11 is censored because our government propagandizes for them. I don’t necessarily object to capital punishment for armed treason on principle. But crucifixion is barbaric and we support and aid the Saudi ruling dynasty all the time! So, yes, I firmly believe this headline at the Middle East Monitor is our business: “Saudi to crucify man arrested when he was 17.” Saudi Arabia has dismissed the final appeal of a juvenile Read more [...] Continue reading →

Boy with Muslim Name and Science Project Meets School Police State

racial_profiling The school police state puts a boy in handcuffs for a “hoax bomb” that the boy claimed was a clock because it was a clock. One of the things that bothers me about this story, is it may have been a CAIR sting operation. But the problem is that, if so, no one should have grabbed at the “bait.” This boy should never have been put in handcuffs. I don’t object to the school authorities being cautious (even though there shouldn’t be any school authorities; the entire public school Read more [...] Continue reading →

Mega-Arrogance: Barack Obama Warns Vladimir Putin against Arming Syria’s Government

syria iraq isis When Barack Obama warns Vladimir Putin against arming Bashar al-Assad, does he realize how hypocritical he is being? When I read this story the shameless hypocrisy and arrogance left me breathless. I can’t decide if Barack Obama is being openly cynical, saying garbage that he knows everyone recognizes as garbage, or if he has convinced himself that he has any standing to warn anyone about arming anyone. How can anyone read this Associated Press headline and not laugh?—“ Obama warns Russia Read more [...] Continue reading →

Why Was ISIS Intelligence Cooked?

isis killing xians More than fifty analysts are claiming that ISIS intelligence was deliberately rewritten in order to make US failure look successful. I mentioned this last month but the story has grown. The Daily Beast has an exclusive, headlined: “50 Spies Say ISIS Intel was Cooked.” The term “spies” is a bit melodramatic. These are intelligence analysts who are all turning into whistleblowers. More than 50 intelligence analysts working out of the U.S. military's Central Command have formally complained Read more [...] Continue reading →

Dick Cheney Tries to Revise History regarding Iraq

iraq iran Contrary to Dick Cheney, invading Iraq took a stable country under a toothless dictator, and transformed it to a haven for terrorists. According to Bonnie Kristian at Rare.US, Dick Cheney is going on the news shows claiming that it was good we invaded Iraq: “No, Dick Cheney, you weren’t right about Iraq.” Naturally, this is coming up because Cheney is beating the war drums for Iran. So the question arises, why should we trust him about Iran when he was so wrong on Iraq? Cheney says Read more [...] Continue reading →

Making the War on ISIS Look Good

pentagon The military’s Central Command has been writing reports on the war on ISIS that include positive conclusions that aren’t justified by the information. Jason Ditz reports for, “Centcom Skewed ISIS War Intel To Be More Upbeat.” The perennial positivity of all public Pentagon assessments on the war against ISIS, despite major, glaring losses on the ground, has been a matter of no small controversy for awhile, and has also successfully kept the elected officials who are on the Read more [...] Continue reading →

Singer Accuses TSA of Sexual Assault; TSA Disagrees

tsa-checkpoint Morrisey claims a TSA agent grabbed his private areas for no real reason, but that is business as usual. Morrisey is a famous pop singer who claimes he was sexually assaulted by a TSA officer. He wrote about the incident on his blog: On leaving the US on 27 July I flew from San Francisco International Airport to London on flight BA 284. At 2:30 in the afternoon I went through the usual airport security procedure including the stand-up 'scanner', and all was well - no bleeps and nothing unusual. Before Read more [...] Continue reading →
