Enforcing the State Religion: Proposal That No Former Boy Scouts Allowed To Be Judges in CA

The idea that this is a free country isn’t just no longer true; we have some influential portion in the country that doesn’t even know what that means. As far as they are concerned, if one does not believe the right things it is the job of government to use every means available to marginalize and punish that person.

So, despite the fact that the Boy Scouts no longer prohibited alleged homosexual youth from joining the organization, now they are being punished for not allowing homosexual adults to be troop leaders. The state of California is going to track who you are and punish you for participating in the organization.

California is proposing to ban members of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) from serving as judges because the Boy Scouts do not allow gay troop leaders, The Daily Caller has learned.

In a move with major legal implications, The California Supreme Court Advisory Committee on The Code of Judicial Ethics has proposed to classify the Boy Scouts as practicing “invidious discrimination” against gays, which would end the group’s exemption to anti-discriminatory ethics rules and would prohibit judges from being affiliated with the group.

This move has two possible effects, not entirely mutually exclusive. It can marginalize the Boy Scouts and perhaps cause the end of the organization. Or it can simply make sure that the pool of potential judges is even more limited than it was before. Only born-and-raised Liberals are allowed to become judges.

And, of course, if they can do it for Boy Scouts of America, they can do it for the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, or any Protestant Church that teaches and practices marriage as between one man and one woman.  We already know that many in California have no concept of tolerating views that they disagree with. The pieces are all in place. All that we are waiting for is the final move to officially make Christians ineligible to hold office.
