Knife Wielders Welcome but No Guns Allowed?

[Taking deep breaths]

Let me get this straight: Your employee was accosted by a knife-wielding man—stabbed eight times—and an armed citizen stops the would-be murderer, so… you put up “No Guns Allowed” signs?!

From the Daily Sheeple:

A convenience store in Mississippi has posted “No Guns Allowed” signs on the front doors – despite the fact that a brutal stabbing was stopped by an armed citizen there recently.

On March 12, the manager of Keith’s Superstore in Lumberton was attacked by Lamont Williams, 29, who is believed to be a disgruntled former employee.

An armed citizen with a concealed carry permit happened to be in the store at the time of the stabbing. When Williams tried to flee, the armed citizen chased him and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

[…]

Sounds like a concealed carry success story, doesn’t it?

You would think that store would be very thankful that an armed citizen saved their manager.

Well…that’s not quite what happened. Because no good deed goes unpunished, Keith’s Superstore has decided that people like that brave armed citizen are no longer welcome in their shop.

What am I missing? Or, are you, Mr. Store Owner, saying you want your employees dead? Because it doesn’t say “No Knives Allowed” (the attempted-murder weapon) but “No Guns Allowed” (the weapon that stopped the bad guy).

Important Note: A “rainbows and unicorns welcome here” sign isn’t going to stop a would-be killer anyway! One more time: Criminals don’t obey laws, stupid! Why would they heed your dumb sign?

Back in March, Rick Ward confirmed that those signs were not posted at the time of the stabbing: “I spoke to Bob the store supervisor and he said they DO NOT have ‘No Gun’ signs posted.”So what prompted the store to post the signs AFTER their employee’s life was saved?

[More deep breaths]

I hate employee strikes, but if I worked for this store owner, I’d be out front with my own sign, and wouldn’t work another moment till the “No Guns Allowed” sign was peeled off the window and burned.
