Censorship is OK When Liberals Call For It

Remember times when Christians called for the banning of books that promote homosexuality or immoral sexual lifestyles?  How about when Christians tried to stop the placement of the Harry Potter books in local libraries?  Whether you agree with banning such books or not, the fact is, all Christians were lumped into the “ignorant hick” class by the liberal intelligentsia of the day. Fast forward to today in Philadelphia.  Last week, Friends’ Country School in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Read more […]

Joe Kennedy, Satanists, and the Misuse of the Establishment Clause

The story about Bremerton Washington assistant football coach Joe Kennedy and his postgame prayers has been well publicized.  We have all seen it somewhere.  Here’s a guy who doesn’t make a big deal about praying. He goes out to the field after the game, prays a very inclusive and “love your fellow man” kind of prayer, and then goes home. According to komonews.com, Kennedy has been praying before and after the games since 2008, and it only recently became a problem with the school district. Read more […]

Public Prayer and the Result, “Woodlawn”

Video Column: I don’t have TV nor do we watch TV in the MacAulay household, but recently I caught a short clip on theBlaze.com of a former TV child star Candace Cameron-Bure on a show called “The View” where they were discussing the story about a high school football coach who recently defied a lawsuit threat demanding he stop praying on the field after games. This persecuted assistant coach’s name is Joe Kennedy and he is claiming the post-game prayer session is not mandatory and is Read more […]

Police Had a Chance to Stop Santa Barbara Killer and Missed It

In the wake of yet another high-profile school shooting we are hearing the all too predictable calls for more laws, more restrictions. The people who are raising the cry are afraid. They like to complain about how their plans for restrictions are just “common sense,” but they’re not. Laws restricting guns are the desperate gambit of frightened people. We already have thousands of gun laws on the books across this country, from local to federal levels. We also have laws regarding the police Read more […]

Obama: ‘I Can Do Whatever I Want’

President Obama’s abuses of power are well-known and numerous, so when he said within earshot of the press, “That’s the good thing as a president, I can do whatever I want,” during a tour of Monticello, he was really just confirming what we already know. The soundbite occurred as Obama and guest, French President Hollande, were bending the rules at Monticello by touring a normally restricted area. It was a nothing maneuver, probably done deliberately so the press would run with the quote and Read more […]

Obama a Half-Pint King Clutching his Tiny Scepter

Most tyrants have the good sense to have the Army in their back pocket before declaring themselves rulers of all they survey. But not President Barack Hussein Obama, who proudly declared this week that he has “a pen” and “a phone” and that he would use them to write executive orders and executive actions to bypass Congress if it doesn’t pass the laws he wants. “We are not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we are providing Americans the kind of help that they Read more […]

With a Rebel Yell, Liberals Scurry for Cover

You can always tell a liberal is scared when he demands that you apologize. And when he demands that you apologize for something you had nothing to do with, then he’s really scared. Such is the case with calls for Ted Cruz and other Republicans to apologize because some guy from Texas unfurled a Confederate flag in front of the White House yesterday. One guy, during the Million Vet March for the Memorials to reclaim our historical monuments from the clutches of the Obama Administration’s Read more […]

School District Blackmailed by ACLU to Remove Portrait of Jesus

The Christian Post reports that “a school district in Ohio has reached a settlement with the American Civil Liberties Union to keep a portrait of Jesus Christ off school property and pay a $95,000 fine. Jackson City School District agreed to the settlement Friday in response to legal action being pushed by the ACLU and the Wisconsin-based group the Freedom From Religion Foundation.” School districts and municipalities are reluctant to fight the ACLU because if they lose, they’ll have to Read more […]

Egyptian People Asking Why U.S. So Dead Set On Supporting Muslim Brotherhood?

Like many of us concerned Americans, Egyptians are now asking why is the Obama administration so intent on helping the Muslim Brotherhood regain and maintain power and control of Egypt. We’ve seen overwhelming evidence come out of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government to show that they look at the US as enemies in the same way they see Israel.  They have also stated that they want to see the US destroyed like Israel.  In most definitions that I know of, that would clearly indicate that they Read more […]

Washington Post Writer Wrong about Religion, America, and the Constitution

Charles C. Hayne has written “Dispelling the myth of a ‘Christian nation’” for the Washington Post. The article begins: “Culture warriors, pseudo historians and opportunistic politicians have spent the last several decades peddling the myth that America was founded as a ‘Christian nation.’ “The propaganda appears to be working. “A majority of the American people (51 percent) believes that the U.S. Constitution establishes a Christian nation, according to the State of the First Read more […]

‘We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Warrants’

If you have a cellphone, police can use it to track your location any time they want without a warrant. That’s the opinion of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, supporting earlier rulings by two other appeals courts. According to the ruling, cell phone users can expect no Fourth Amendment protection regarding their records because the cell phone company already keeps that information for its own use. This data “clearly is a business record,” the court said, and police do not even require probable Read more […]

NSA Snooping: ‘Eating Out Our Substance’

The giant $1.2 billion NSA snooping storage facility in Utah tops out at over 15 times the size of Giants/Jets stadium, and that’s just the part that’s above ground. 200 acres is evidently not enough room to store all the data to “keep America safe.” In May of this year construction began on an additional 28 acre NSA site outside of Baltimore Maryland (and again, that’s just the part that we can see). Together they are seven times the size of the Pentagon. But don’t worry; they need all that Read more […]
