Protecting Students through the Second Amendment

WKRC in Cincinnati reports: “School staff training for an active shooter.” Would you want teachers in your schools carrying guns? It’s one of the most controversial issues in the entire country. In Ohio, around 40 school districts now allow teachers with concealed carry licenses to carry their weapons in class. In upstate Ohio there is top level, extraordinary teacher training. The teachers and administrators train side by side with local law enforcement and paramedics at John Benner’s Tactical Read more […]

9-Year-Old Threatened with Sexual Harassment Prosecution

The 9-year-old fourth-grader was sending love notes to a crush. The principal says it’s a crime. The little pervert wrote about her eyes sparkling. According to Reason.com, A fourth-grader from Hillsborough, Florida, was warned not to pass any more love notes to his female classmates—and will be charged with sexual harassment if he persists. That’s right: It’s not merely inappropriate for a nine-year-old boy to write such sexually-charged messages as “her eyes sparkled like diamonds,” Read more […]

Teacher Tried to Force Students to Deny God Exists

School district denies that it happened despite other students who also say they were coerced to deny God exists. The students were told to list claims as to whether they were “facts” or “myths.” The existence of God was on the list. A middle school girl testified about what happened to her, as reported by EAG news: Jordan Wooley spoke to the Katy ISD school board October 26th and explained how her teacher had forced students to say God was a myth or take a failing grade. “Today Read more […]

Lenore Skenazy Shows Public School Will Damage Children for the Sake of Policy

A girl was allowed to suffer a coughing fit that led to vomit because public school policy required inhaler to have her name on it. Lenore Skenazy regularly writes at Reason.com and has covered several amazing stories about how officials attack parents for violating rules about child-rearing that they make up. She also covered this wonderful story about a judge who showed some common sense in the area of child endangerment charges. On her Free Range Kids blog, she recently pointed out this Read more […]

Public School Bans Tag for Students’ “Emotional Safety”

Parents are upset when a public school bans tag claiming to do so for the sake of the emotional health of students. Kids have been playing tag forever. It is part of their culture which gets handed down as older children interact with younger children. The real tragedy lately is that children are trained to stare at a TV screen or a computer monitor or a smart phone to be entertained, rather than being forced to come up with group entertainment outside which forces them to run and respond quickly Read more […]

Boy with Muslim Name and Science Project Meets School Police State

The school police state puts a boy in handcuffs for a “hoax bomb” that the boy claimed was a clock because it was a clock. One of the things that bothers me about this story, is it may have been a CAIR sting operation. But the problem is that, if so, no one should have grabbed at the “bait.” This boy should never have been put in handcuffs. I don’t object to the school authorities being cautious (even though there shouldn’t be any school authorities; the entire public school Read more […]

Public School Compulsion

Two weeks ago I made the following statement: “if you can isolate children, and train them to believe that there is a wall of separation between God and government, then you can enslave them—or rather—they will have enslaved themselves.” Juxtapose that thought with this.  You can’t subjugate and enslave a biblically literate Christian people. A Christian culture will recognize and reject tyranny before tyranny can get a foothold. A Christian people, by virtue of their understanding Read more […]

Rape Culture Hysteria: 13-Year-Old Boy Charged with Assault for Kissing 14-Year-Old Girl

Is this what is meant by “rape culture”—a young teen facing criminal charges because he kissed a girl on a dare? I don’t think thirteen-year-olds should be kissing teen girls against their will. Both the boy and the other students who encouraged him should be punished. I hate to sound old, but when I was a student, a teen might receive physical discipline for such an act. Now we are much more enlightened. We don’t lay a hand on students; we just bestow on them a permanent criminal record. WBFF Read more […]

Why Would Anyone Think the Constitution Allows Parents to Choose a School for Their Children?

When the government dictates to parents the school for their children, that’s totally okay with our wise judges. It is a horrible story but I had to laugh at the headline at the Wall Street Journal blog: “No Guarantee of Public School Choice in Constitution, Appeals Court Rules.” How funny! These judges can find homosexual marriage in the Constitution. They can find authorization for a Federal Department of Education in the Constitutions! But they can’t find anything that allows parents Read more […]

School: No Superhero Lunchboxes Allowed

A school ban on “violent images” means no superhero images are permitted either. I don’t particularly like Wonder Woman’s outfit, nor am I really happy with the pagan background attributed to the comic book superhero. But one could easily see that the image might be empowering to a young girl. What would not be empowering is to have a school bureaucrat tell her that she is not permitted to bring the superhero lunchbox to school. At the National Review Jonah Goldberg reports, “A Read more […]

Public School says No Prayer; Students do it Anyway, Secularist Baffled

Last week we discussed a recent ban by U.S. District Judge, Carlton Reeves, given to Rankin County School District, saying it promoted Christianity.  What’s wrong with a public school district promoting Christianity? The Judge maintains a “legal fiction” the courts call the “Incorporation Doctrine.” Contrary to the 10th Amendment, this “Incorporation Doctrine” has been the source of an unconstitutional federal usurpation of power over and against all 50 states along with their Read more […]

Denying Me Your Daughters’ Restroom is Bigotry!

A teen high school student with long hair and some makeup thinks anyone who treats him like a male is guilty of bigotry. The difference between girls and boys is not how they wear their hair. You would think high school students would know that. KMOV reports, “Hillsboro High School students stage walkout in dispute over transgender student.” More than 150 students walked out of Hillsboro High School over a dispute about the use of the girls’ locker room by a transgender student. The Read more […]
