Teacher Tells Girl Bible Quotes Banned From School

Freedom of expression. It’s not a difficult concept. Basically, every human being has the right to speak his mind without fear of government punishment or penalty. Accepted, reasonable restrictions on speech are generally very loose, like no yelling “fire” in a crowded auditorium and no speech that is genuinely disruptive like standing up and reciting the Communist Manifesto while the teacher is trying to conduct class. Yet somehow, school officials across this land often seem to forget Read more […]

Student Suspended for NRA T-shirt

Kids in schools today are exposed to all manner of morally questionable ideas, especially in very liberal states like New York. In addition to the outright assault on America’s sexual morals, the liberal education industry force feeds children an adulterated history, “feel-good” math and a steady diet of left-wing political pap. One thing that isn’t taught in schools, either because the teachers disagree with it or simply don’t know it, is the U.S. Constitution. None of the founding documents Read more […]

Tracking & Classifying Our Children From Pre-K To College

With the obsession over early (and ever-earlier) childhood education, and the alleged “achievement gap” that supposedly results throughout life whenever some four-year-old is not pushed into structured education, I should have seen this coming. From USA Today: The [New York] state Education Department is in the final stages of creating a system to share student data with colleges and a half-dozen other state agencies so that New Yorkers can be tracked from preschool to college to the workforce Read more […]

Principal Remains on Job after Threatening to Blow Up Staff

Remember the boy who was on a school bus talking to his friends and said that he wishes he had a gun to protect them?  The bus driver over heard him and took back to the school, where the principal suspended him for just saying the word gun. Or what about the six year old boy that pointed his finger at another kid and acted like he was shooting him?  He was suspended also.  Then there was the 5 year old girl that threatened to shoot another kindergartner with her Hello Kitty Bubble Gun when Read more […]

Who is Presumptively in Control of a Child’s Education—Parents or the Government?

If you’re a homeschooling parent and you’re not sure of the answer to that question, then you may want to read what is happening in Nebraska that may answer that question and have an impact on your rights. Eric and Gail Thacker, have five school aged kids.  They did not enroll them into the local public schools as they were home schooling.  After six weeks, charges were filed against the parents and they were found guilty of truancy, a criminal offense, but they were not fined. Students Suspended For Wearing American Flag Bandanas And Chanting “USA!”

A group of Camarillo High School students were wearing American flag bandanas at a school basketball game, and their principal pulled them aside and told them either to remove their bandanas or leave the game. Mind you, this is in America. In California, in fact. So, why would a group of high school boys be told by their principal to remove their American flag bandanas? Because it’s racist. And there were students of other ethnicities that attended both schools who were competing in the basketball Read more […]

Two First-Graders Suspended For Playing Cops & Robbers

Just a couple weeks ago, a 6-year-old student was suspended for pretending to “shoot” another student with his hand and saying, “Pow!” He was playing of course, but the school officials were alarmed by the boy’s behavior and suspended him. In the assistant principal’s letter to the student’s parents, she wrote that their son “threatened to shoot another student.” After the parents secured a lawyer, they appealed the decision of the school, and the school overturned the student’s Read more […]

Federal Texas Judge: Schoolchildren = Cattle

I have to admit that, as much as I hate the judge’s decision, I can’t deny that it will improve the student’s education by preparing him for what American life is going to be like when he grows up to take his place as a serf in the system. Reuters reports, “A public school district in Texas can require students to wear locator chips when they are on school property, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday in a case raising technology-driven privacy concerns among liberal and conservative groups Read more […]

Children of Homosexual Couples 35% More Likely to Fail in School

Ever since homosexuals began coming out of the closets in numbers, sociologists and psychologists have done everything they can to help justify and normalize the sinful lifestyle.  Their numerous studies would have you believe that defying God’s covenant of marriage is somehow acceptable. Evidently one such sociologist is Stanford University’s Michael J. Rosenfeld.  In 2009, he published his study titled Nontraditional Families and Childhood Progress through School.  His abstract for the Read more […]
