The Left Wants America as Their Zero Tolerance Zone

The pansexual left is working hard to make sure there is zero tolerance for Christianity in the United States.

Appreciate that in the world of the unicorn-riding Left, the only rights that exist are awarded by the state based on secular whims of division by constituency. It’s where sexual preference is celebrated, the acceptance of destructive behavior is applauded and antagonism of politically incorrect faith is the ideal.

The Left does not fight for the rights of individuals. They fight for the license of individuals, or the freedom to act upon one’s instincts, rather than rights and responsibilities.

Once moral principle is abandoned in the name of pseudo-morality, the implications simply will not stop. Ben Shapiro is absolutely correct in his recent article at Breitbart.com: the Left has shown it has zero tolerance for issues of truth—everything is power politics, and right now they smell blood.

The war between advocates for homosexual behavior and the legitimization thereof and the religious community has been brewing for decades. Now, that battle is out in the open, and it will not end with florists, bakers, or photographers. It will only end once religious people have been made to abandon their principles under the threat of fine or jail from the tolerant left.

One good thing about the current upset is that it is “outing” those politicians who held to moral principle out of pragmatics rather than conviction. The question that remains is whether even five or ten percent of our leaders are actually who they portrayed themselves to be. Right now it’s not looking promising.

Oh, and as for Shapiro’s final comment…

The war between advocates for homosexual behavior and the legitimization thereof and the religious community has been brewing for decades. Now, that battle is out in the open, and it will not end with florists, bakers, or photographers. It will only end once religious people have been made to abandon their principles under the threat of fine or jail from the tolerant left.

Some of us will never abandon our principles—no matter what the threats. By grace there remains a remnant that fears God more than we fear the evil men. Perhaps it is that kind of fortitude in the face of persecution that many of those enemies of God need to see to bring them to meet the One whose Law they now so strenuously oppose.

Lord, give us grace to stand—and to love—in the face of such hatred. We know it is You they hate, more than us.
