Trey Goudy on Jonathan Gruber

In case you need a recap of the Jonathan Gruber affair: Over and over, apparently, Mr. Gruber called Americans “stupid” while at the same time taking taxpayer checks to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Here is Trey Goudy:

I wonder… is it really all a matter of stupidity? Or is there at least an equal measure of foolish citizen trust that was extended—believing such officials would never flat-out lie in order to commit fraud against the American people. Well, they will.

Lesson to learn: Never, ever, ever, ever, ever trust a Democratic politician or bureaucrat or “expert” no matter what they say. Every single one of these cretins was willing to lie—and they knew they were lying–to get what they wanted.

“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period.” “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” “The discussions for the law will be held on C-SPAN.” “The average insurance cost will drop $2500 for a family.” May I remind you it was the President himself who gave us each and every one of those whopping deceptions—most of them spoken more times than anyone can count.

You just watch how frustrated leaders get in the future when the People won’t listen to them in an important matter, like a national emergency–we should just play back these tapes! Trust is earned, and neither Republicans nor Democrats have earned an ounce.

Folks like Gruber—and Mr. Obama’s major campaign donors—got paid handsomely, and the average American got lied to, had their health insurance totally messed over, and is getting robbed every time they need medical care from here forward.

We need a new law in this country that puts the Jonathan Grubers and Barack Obamas and Hank Paulsons and Tim Geithners and Janet Yellens of the world in prison when they clearly and blatantly lie in their official declarations. And, yes, I would apply that to demons regardless of their Party label.
