A New Poll that Liberals are Going to Hate and Ignore

Liberals love to push polls that show how Americans are changing their views on homosexuality. There’s a reason why people are changing their views: homosexuality is never discussed. It’s always gay this and gay that, gay marriage and gay pride. It’s never men and women who are engaged in same-sex sex: abnormal, contra-biological, and unsanitary sexual relationships.

If homosexuals were consistently homosexual (no adoption or surrogacy), there would never be a second-generation of married homosexuals. Their genes would die with them. How is this in any way comparable with heterosexuality?

And it’s not about love. We love all kinds of people: brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, etc. Following “it’s about love” logic, then can we say that it’s moral and normal to have sex with them?

A poll that got specific about homosexuality would net less than positive results. Let me ask the questions, and I bet we would see a radical shift in homosexual opinions.

The same is true of abortion. When abortion is actually described and pre-born babies are shown in 3D imaging and sonograms, people are more apt to oppose abortion.

Like the “gay rights” movement, the pro-abortion movement was clever to stay away from using the word “abortion” unless it was a “back alley abortion.” Abortionists aren’t “pro-abortion”; they’re “pro-choice.” And what is the woman choosing to do? Well, she’s choosing to kill her pre-born baby. But that’s not how abortionists describe abortion. The Kermit Gosnell trial has affected opinions on abortion, and it was a story major media outlets hoped would go away.

Consider this new poll conducted by the Huffington Post. It makes for interesting reading:

“Most Americans would favor sweeping new national restrictions on abortion after the 20th week of pregnancy, according to a new HuffPost/YouGov poll. But the poll also shows many Americans remain conflicted in their views on abortion.

“By a margin of 59 percent to 30 percent, respondents to the new poll said they would favor a federal law banning abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

“On a 20-week abortion ban, 70 percent of conflicted respondents said they were in favor of the measure, along with 30 percent of respondents who gave pro-abortion rights responses to both questions and 89 percent of those who gave anti-abortion responses to both.”

It remains to be seen how many other news outlets pick up on the story.

At the end of the article, The Huffington Post can’ stop itself from taking a shot at pro-life elements in the GOP by including 12 images of the “GOP’s War on Sex.”

Liberals are afraid that the true image of abortion will get out. How do I know? Consider this:http://dailycaller.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-shot-2013-07-09-at-1.02.17-PM.png

“The Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and the L.A. Times have refused to run an anti-abortion ad that depicts a 20-week-old baby held in a person’s palm, accompanied by the words, ‘This child has no voice, which is why it depends on yours.’

The pro-life group Heroic Media intended to use the ad to encourage the U.S. Senate to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, approved by the House last month, but it was rejected by the three major newspapers as “too controversial.”

“‘It seems as though it is okay to talk about the issue in general, but when you actually put a face to the discussion, then it becomes controversial,’ says Heroic Media Executive Director Joe Young.”

I agree that a woman’s right to choose should not be left to a popular vote or an opinion poll. There are moral laws that transcend the individual and the group. A pre-born baby is not a vestigial organ, tumor, or cancerous tissue. A woman can choose what she wants to do with her own body, but the baby in her womb is not her body.

Here’s another poll liberals won’t like: “U.S. adults now say journalists contribute ‘not very much’ or ‘nothing at all’ to society (27 percent).”

There’s still hope for America.
