From “Autopsy of Moore beheading victim released.”

Colleen Hufford, 54, died from decapitation due to multiple sharp force trauma to her neck, according to the state medical examiner’s office.

Alton Nolen, 30, remains in Cleveland County jail on charges of murder, assault with a deadly weapon and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Evidence from the autopsy indicates Hufford put up a fight before her death. The autopsy describes multiple defensive injuries to both hands and her right arm and other injuries to Hufford’s cheek, chest and upper arm.

The autopsy also describes the weapon used as a “single edge cooking knife with a black plastic handle. The blade is approximately 8 inches long and 1.5 inches in width. The edge is serrated.”

Moore police said Nolen attacked Hufford after learning he had been suspended from his job at Vaughan Foods. After killing Hufford, Nolen then attacked and tried to kill Traci Johnson, 43, authorities say. Johnson was treated and released from a local hospital days after the attack.

Mark Vaughan, chief operating officer at Vaughan Foods, stopped the attack when he shot Nolen with a rifle.

What this account leaves out, of course, is Nolen’s Islamic faith. This means, if Hufford was (and is!) a Christian, then she died as a Crusader. The Crusades, though they were subject to many abuses and perversions, were primarily a defensive move against a perceived expansionist Islamic threat. Islam went from Mecca to the region of Spain and France inside of two centuries. It was virulently aggressive.

Hufford died in combat with an Islamist who certainly qualified as aggressive!

Most of the media and the government is refusing to acknowledge that this beheading is arguably the first fatal attack by ISIS on United States soil.

Colleen Hufford was a casualty of war.
