“Buy A Shotgun”: What’s Good For Biden Is Good For You

Vice President Joe Biden yesterday engaged in an online, townhall-style forum with Parents Magazine to answer questions from viewers via social media.

The disputably male rep for the magazine read the questions to Biden from his iPad.

One of them was from a woman named Kate, who asked, “Do you believe that banning certain weapons and high-capacity magazines will mean that law-abiding citizens will then become more of a target to criminals as we will have no way to sufficiently protect ourselves?”

Biden dismissively laughed at the legitimate question and asked, “Is this Parents Magazine?”

“It is,” the beta male answered.

Showing the same glimmering chompers and squinted eyes that he showed to Paul Ryan during their vice presidential debate, Biden said, “I have Parents Magazine at home, I’ve never heard anybody in Parents Magazine ask these kinds of questions.” Then, realizing he sounded like a total jerk, he attempted to stop smiling, looked back at the camera, and said, “But I’m delighted to answer them.”

Before answering, though, he had to ask Mr. Ma’am to repeat the question, after which Biden began his response to the woman he laughed at not five seconds before:

Kate–if you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun.”

Biden knows what’s best for Kate. She best be a good little citizen and obey him.

“Have the shells, a twelve-gauge shotgun–and I promise you, as I told my wife–we live in an area that’s wooded and somewhat secluded–I said, ‘Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out, put that double-barrel shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house.’ I promise you, whoever’s coming in is not gonna–you don’t need an AR-15. It’s harder to aim, it’s harder to use, and, in fact, you don’t need thirty rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”

In the same forum, Biden also said, “No one’s going to take anyone’s gun. We’re talking about a background check.”

But if no gun-ban is in the plans, then why, in attempting to assuage the fears of Kate that certain guns will be banned, did Biden dismissively tell her that she doesn’t need certain guns? If background checks are all that the administration has planned, why wouldn’t Biden have just told her, “Kate, you can use whatever gun you want, as long as you pass a background check”? Why didn’t he say, “You can use an AR-15 if you want, even if my preferred choice is to use a shotgun”?

Of course gun bans are coming, Biden, and you know it. Quit  lying through those bought-and-paid-for pearly whites.
