Politicians and Voters Both Live in Make-Believe World

Pope Francis has become a propagandist for the make-believe world of the EU and the US ruling regime. Here is a rousing commentary on the foolishness of both Pope Francis and the Eurocrats: “The Pope joins the EU in a sad world of make-believe.” What has a Papal Encyclical calling on the world to end its use of fossil fuels and to pray to God for the success of the global “climate summit” in December got in common with the Greek euro crisis, the ominous rift between the West and Russia, Read more […]

Why Transgender Claims are Cowardly

The purpose of transgender claims is to deny and hide from reality. That is never brave. John Steigerwald asks at the Daily Caller, “Is What Bruce Jenner Did Courageous.” I think a better question would be, “Is there any purpose to ESPN or national sports in general other than to serve as regime propaganda?” Steigerwald doesn’t think Jenner was courageous compared to other athletes and I agree. But perhaps some will claim that what Jenner has done took more courage than competing Read more […]

School Girl Learns She Lives under Atheist Regime

If you are conditioned to not talk about God in public, even in institutions you are forced to attend, you live under an atheist regime. Parents can, with reasonable freedom, pull their kids out of public school and either use private school or home school, if they can afford the double hit of continuing to be taxed for the school while having to pay for an alternative education. But the fact remains that government taxation laws and truancy laws coerce parents into sending their children to a Read more […]

Girl Shot in Head for Following Singing Dream

A Turkish teen was sent to the hospital after being shot in the head just for following her ambition to sing in her country’s version of “The Voice” TV show. Nineteen-year-old Mutlu Kaya was in critical condition Tuesday after being shot by someone who snuck into her backyard and shot her through a window while she was rehearsing. The teen had reportedly been mentored by Sibel Can, a Turkish female folk singing star, and the family said that Can was helping with Kaya’s treatment. Kaya is Read more […]

Competing Belief Systems

We live in a day where we are continually told that the highest good, the very best virtue, the noblest human quality is tolerance. We are told we must tolerate those we disagree with no matter what. So if the issue is regards the murder of the unborn, we must not be too disturbed about this, we must just tolerate those on the other side. Or if the issue is the nature of the God ordained institution of marriage, those who hold to the opposite belief about this tell us that we must tolerate them. Read more […]

Christianity Declining but Still a Majority in the U.S.

Yes we can be sorry about Christianity declining but we might be better off if it did it more quickly for awhile. A friend of mine pointed out this story from Pew Research: “The Changing Religious Landscape: Christians Decline Sharply as Share of Population; Unaffiliated and Other Faiths Continue to Grow.” It is bad news, but there is also some good news in the story. The Christian share of the U.S. population is declining, while the number of U.S. adults who do not identify with any organized Read more […]

Hillary Clinton Plans to Change “Religious Beliefs” for Abortion

Having seen what the Obama Administration has done for homosexuality to corrupt marriage, Hillary Clinton plans big things for abortion when she wins the Oval Office. Here is the quotation. I don’t think my interpretation is inaccurate at all. Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political Read more […]

The GOP Betrayal of Religious Freedom in Indiana

The Federalist analyzes the GOP betrayal: Indiana is now the most restrictive state in the Union. We have now reached the point where Rick Santorum and a Lesbian couple have more in common on the concept of freedom, including religious freedom, than either have with the Republican governor and Republican legislators of Indiana. It really is nothing less than a GOP betrayal of religious freedom. As the Federalist puts it: “Indiana Is Now The Most Hostile State To Religious Freedom.” In Read more […]

College Professor Doubles Down on Christian Hatred

Rutgers University Professor Brittney Cooper is not the sort of person you want your children having as a teacher. That much is clear. Lately, she’s making quite an infamous name for herself because of her Holy Week essay titled “The Right’s Made-Up God: How Bigots Invented a White Supremacist Jesus.” As with so many on the Left, Cooper is irony impaired and goes about spewing bile about whites, particularly white males, conservative Christians, the Bible and God, all while calling herself Read more […]

Will Indiana Be Broken by Law?

At the foundation of every social order is a concept of law, government and individual rights. For most of the history of our country this foundation was the Bible — the Word of God — including both the Old and New Testaments. All of the original 13 states expressed in their Constitutions that the Christian Faith was the foundation of law.   And the laws of each of those states were designed to secure the protection of its exercise.  Contrast this with communist Russia’s policy that Read more […]

Right of Conscience? Depends on the Cake

Consider the following proof — as if it was needed — that “tolerance” and religious “freedom” are a one-way street. Everyone remembers back in 2012, when Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, Colorado, refused to bake a “wedding” cake for a homosexual couple. The ACLU got involved, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission ruled that Phillips had violated anti-discrimination laws. Phillips is currently appealing. Fast forward to March 2014. A guy named Bill Jack from Castle Read more […]

Will the Gaystapo Leave Indiana and Attack Dearborn, Michigan?

Somehow the Gaystapo gets more, uh, restrained over Muslims refusing to bake same sex wedding cakes. Yeah, something like that. Can’t we all just… oh, I dunno… tolerate each other, without forcing people to violate their consciences? Tolerance… such a nice word. Too bad a large segment of our neighbors has redefined the word. Read more […]
