Actually, Cecile Richards is not Jason Bourne (yet?), but the movie franchise shows how Planned Parenthood recruits women.
In the movie trilogy Jason Bourne was an action hero—virtually a superhero. But what made him so special wasn’t just his strength, speed, accuracy, or other skills. He was special because he had been brainwashed to serve a secret group within the CIA called “Treadstone.” The premise of the trilogy is that an especially evil action (involving killing children) is presented to Bourne and, in that moment, he breaks free of his conditioning. One consequence is that he loses much or all of his memory and has to work to get it back.
Cecile Richards is no action hero. But there is a similarity between Richards and Jason Bourne when he was still under the control of Treadstone.
I thought of this when I saw this article at Life Site News: “Cecile Richards: Aborting My Baby ‘Wasn’t a Difficult Decision’”
The head of the nation’s biggest abortion business disclosed today that she herself had an abortion and apparently it was no big deal to take the life of her unborn child.
Planned Parenthood does over 330,000 abortions on an annual basis and Richards opened up about her own abortion in an essay published in Elle on Friday, writing that she thinks of more women share their abortion decisions it will stop the “stigma” surrounding abortion.
“I had an abortion. It was the right decision for me and my husband, and it wasn’t a difficult decision,” Richards writes. “Before becoming president of Planned Parenthood eight years ago, I hadn’t really talked about it beyond family and close friends. But I’m here to say, when politicians argue and shout about abortion, they’re talking about me — and millions of other women around the country.”
Interesting. I wonder how much of Richards’ story is true.
Perhaps she is telling the truth and my Jason Bourne analogy doesn’t apply to her. Maybe she was so ignorant of pregnancy that she really doesn’t believe that she murdered her child. Or maybe she was so cold-hearted she really didn’t care. If the latter is true, then she has certainly found her perfect job.
But a much more likely scenario is that Richards is coloring the story in service to her job. She got an abortion, she killed her baby, and she became a new person in the act.
She became potential Treadstone material.
The Jason Bourne trilogy of movies culminates in Bourne recovering and facing up to his memory of how he was initiated into the program.
Yes, Jason Bourne became the servant of Treadstone by making the decision (under extreme duress from people who had influence over him) to kill an innocent man.
And that is exactly how Planned Parenthood recruits an army of loyal woman. If Richards was already so damaged that her abortion wasn’t that big a transition in her psychology, don’t forget all the many others. Listen to Richards’ words. She is telling us that she has the means to induct “millions of women around the country” into her death cult.
And she does.
Many of these women are making their decision like Bourne was—under sleep deprivation and with extreme pressure put on them. Many of them are not yet legally women at all. Their lives are forever changed by their parents’ insistence, by a boyfriend’s bullying, by girlfriends who want to “help.”
And once the choice is made, in most cases Planned Parenthood now has a new killer to serve their interest, to advocate for them, to vote for them, to volunteer in their offices, and perhaps to ship off baby parts to StemExpress or some similar company.
The link above goes to my post about Abby Johnson, who once directed the Houston Planned Parenthood abortion mill. Now she runs what is essentially a rescue and cult deprogramming operation for Planned Parenthood workers. If you go watch her interview with Steven Crowder, you will hear him ask her how she ended up working for Planned Parenthood and part of her answer is the fact that she had abortions.
So while Cecil Richards is still a Treadstone assassin, Abby Johnson really is Jason Bourne. May her numbers increase! And may we all be quick to offer forgiveness and newness of life to those who are slaves to guilt and sin.
