Like many of us concerned Americans, Egyptians are now asking why is the Obama administration so intent on helping the Muslim Brotherhood regain and maintain power and control of Egypt.
We’ve seen overwhelming evidence come out of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government to show that they look at the US as enemies in the same way they see Israel. They have also stated that they want to see the US destroyed like Israel. In most definitions that I know of, that would clearly indicate that they are enemies of the United States.
Obama’s continued efforts to support the Muslim Brotherhood, the self-described enemies of the US, constitute treason according to Article 3, Section 3 of the US Constitution which states:
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”
Now the Egyptian people are asking the same question that I and others have been asking, which is, why is he openly committing treason by continuing to aid and abet a sworn enemy government regime.
Amr Adeed, a popular Egyptian commentator is not only asking why the US continues to support the Muslim Brotherhood, but he offers an explanation as well. He believes that the US wants the Muslim Brotherhood in control in order turn Egypt into another Syria and Afghanistan as centers for Islamic jihadists. In so doing, then we can point to Egypt in an effort to politically discredit Islam.
Adeed admits that westerners may question his theory, but he backs it up by pointing out that the Muslim Brotherhood regime of Morsi, whom Obama continues to support, had no regard for law or human rights, just like Obama. They destroyed ancient historic churches, murdered hundreds of Christians and even burned hospitals. Then the Obama administration turns around and accuses the military regime that toppled Morsi’s government as being an obstruction to democracy.
In fact, I have to agree that the military regime is an obstruction to democracy because true democracy is a tyrannical government elected by the people. Founding Father and President James Madison stated:
“Democracy was the right of the people to choose their own tyrant.”
Former US Supreme Court Justice John Marshall spoke about the difference between democracy and republic:
“Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”
Under Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt was a democracy. They were ruled by a tyrant elected by the people and the nation was in chaos. What Egypt’s military leaders are trying to do is establish something closer to a republic and not a democracy, but Obama wants the region to be in chaos and ruled by a tyrant, just like himself and what he is doing here in the US.
Another reason Obama may be willing to commit treason to support Morsi is because Morsi is a lying fraud, just like Obama. In the Egyptian elections in 2012, Morsi told the Egyptian people that he worked for NASA but he never did. He promised to spend $200 billion to rebuild a new Egypt as part of the Renaissance Project, but after the election he backed out of the promise saying that it was nothing more than an idea and not a promise. Morsi promised things like medicine, sugar and cooking oil to voters if he was elected. His Muslim Brotherhood buddies intimidated thousands of Coptic Christians, preventing many of them from voting in the presidential election. Sounds very much like Obama’s buddies the New Black Panthers who intimidated voters in the 2008 and 2012 election.
It seems that everyone except our spineless Congress is wondering why Obama is so dead set on supporting Morsi. My bigger question is why doesn’t our Congress do something about Obama’s treasonous actions and I’m sure the Egyptian people would also like to know why.
