Here’s the lesson for the day: Liberals are not tolerant. Liberals use the idea of tolerance to force the ideological door open, but once inside, they immediately shut it behind them.
Conservatives are brow beaten when they take a moral stand on an issue. Liberals begin by arguing that conservatives should be “tolerant” even if they disagree with a particular belief or behavior. Not wanting to be thought of as unloving, they agree to be tolerant but not accepting of certain behaviors. This is the wedge that liberals look for. Once tolerance is granted, there is no stopping the aggression until conservative views are shut out all together. It’s a form of bullying. Here’s the latest example as reported in the Christian Post:
A self-proclaimed civil rights group has announced that it will be protesting actor Kirk Cameron’s visit to New Jersey later this month due to his Christian views regarding homosexuality.
The group, Ocean Grove United, announced in a blog post that it will be protesting Cameron’s arrival at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, where he will be presenting a program entitled “Love Worth Fighting For Marriage Event” on the evening of July 27.
This isn’t the first time Kirk Cameron has been attacked for his mainstream views on homosexual marriage. In March of this year, a group of former child actors attacked Cameron in a mocking and disgusting video.
It all started during the promotion phase of his film Monumental. Cameron appeared on a number of interview shows. One of them was with Piers Morgan. Instead of talking about Monumental, Morgan asked Cameron about his views on homosexuality. Here was Cameron’s answer:
“Marriage is defined by God in the garden between Adam and Eve, one man, one woman for life, til-death-do-you-part.”
Immediately the leftists in Hollywood pounced on his comments. Roseanne Barr had this to say: Kirk Cameron “is an accomplice to murder with his hate speech.” Here’s what Kirk said in response to the comments from the “tolerant” Hollywood liberals:
“I should be able to express moral views on social issues, especially those that have been the underpinning of Western civilization for 2,000 years — without being slandered, accused of hate speech, and told from those who preach ‘tolerance’ that I need to either bend my beliefs to their moral standards or be silent when I’m in the public square.”
Kirk Cameron gives his opinion on homosexuality, and the liberal brigade of Hollywood sexual thuggery goes into action. It’s too bad they haven’t put the same kind of effort into exposing the child sex epidemic that’s rampant in Hollywood. The following is from The Daily Mail:
“A wave of child abuse allegations in Hollywood have emerged within the past month[December 2011] — including that of a Julliard-trained ‘Sesame Street’ composer who allegedly produced and distributed porn, and a Hollywood manager who was charged with abusing a former client.
“Which begs the question — is there a heinous epidemic of child abuse in Hollywood?
“Recent childhood abuse allegations have brought to the forefront atrocious reports from former child actors who said paedophilia has been a common practice in Hollywood.”
Here’s what Corey Feldman told ABC’s Nightline: “I can tell you that the number one problem in Hollywood was and always will be paedophilia. That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry. . . . It’s the biggest secret.”
“Little House on the Prairie star Alison Arngrim agreed. ‘This has been going on for a very long time,’ she told Fox News. ‘It was the gossip back in the 80s. People said, “Oh yeah, the Coreys [Corey Feldman and Corey Haim], everyone’s had them.” People talked about it like it was no big deal.’”
By “had,” she means “had sex with them.”
Kirk Cameron’s opinion on homosexuality is far worse than the abuse that child actors suffered from adult homosexuals who saw children as easy prey. Who are the real bullies?
