No Global Warming Facts, But There’s Still Global Warming

The latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report has been released on global climate change. To everyone’s surprise the report warns of catastrophic global warming on the horizon.

The IPCC did have to admit the obvious — well, kind of — that there has been no warming recently. But just you wait … you’ll see … the earth will start boiling again any day now.

Propagandists such as National Geographic online sprung into action highlighting the major IPCC claims as virtually irrefutable proof of warming. Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Here are just the two biggies, with, of course, my accompanying comments.

Before I touch on these points, I would like to correct one thing. Last week I wrote that “climate scientists” had overestimated the Earth’s sensitivity to CO2 emissions by some 30%. Well, I am man enough to admit that I was wrong. The overestimation wasn’t by 30%. It was actually some 40%. Knowing that, how dependable do you think a simulation outcome would be when the data you input are off by that much?

The IPCC scientists are either the dumbest smart guys on earth or criminally negligent. It is the latter and they know it and don’t care. I’m certain of it.

But just for fun – let’s go through 2 of their silly claims.

NatGeo reports the IPCC claim that the “oceans have been warming, with virtual certainly, every decade since 1970.″

Yet in 2008, NPR online reported:

“Some 3000 scientific robots, called the Argo system, that are plying the ocean have sent home a puzzling message. These diving instruments suggest that the oceans have not warmed up at all over the past four or five years. That could mean global warming has taken a breather. Or it could mean scientists aren’t quite understanding what the robots are telling them.”

The NPR report continued:

“NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory says the oceans are what really matter when it comes to global warming. In fact, 80% to 90% of global warming involves heating up ocean waters. The buoys can dive 3000 feet down and measure ocean temperature. Since the system was fully deployed in 2003, it has recorded no warming of the global oceans. It is possible the air has warmed but the ocean has not. But it’s also possible that something more mysterious is going on.”

To add to the confusion, scientists admit that data have not been collected for all parts of the globe – specifically, the southern hemisphere, where significant inputs from Antarctica likely exist, have not been completely sampled.

So how does one claim the oceans have warmed globally when only measuring one hemisphere? Easy. They cheat and lie about the data to develop the conclusion they desire. It is also yet another admission that scientists don’t really have a clue what drives or causes natural changes to the climate.

The NatGeo article ends with the IPCC claim that, “more than half of the global warming observed since 1950 has a human cause, largely from the greenhouse effect of gases such as carbon dioxide emitted from burning fossil fuels.”

Knowing what we now know about the ridiculously inaccurate IPCC climate models, how or why would anyone believe any of what these frauds claim as fact? Global warming and cooling are natural events and there’s not a thing humans can do to cause or prevent them.
