Having seen what the Obama Administration has done for homosexuality to corrupt marriage, Hillary Clinton plans big things for abortion when she wins the Oval Office.
Here is the quotation. I don’t think my interpretation is inaccurate at all.
Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed. As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.
Thanks to Kerry Picket at the Daily Caller for not only posting the video and telling us the time stamp (8:26), but also quoting from it so that I didn’t have to type it all out myself.
A few things to point out:
First, “access to reproductive health care” in the lexicon of people like Hillary Clinton and Bill Gates and others always means abortion on demand. Period. Yes, she segued from the claim that domestic violence against women is not illegal in many countries to a call for abortion on demand. That’s because she thinks of any restraint on the sole right of the mother (in theory) to kill her child while carrying that child is an act of violence against woman. It is an ironic way of thinking, because in fact she is the murderous demon advocating violence. But it makes its own kind of sense.
Second, the fact that she was talking about other nations to lead into the above statement doesn’t change the fact that she clearly reveals that she has a target-lock on the United States. She makes it loud and clear: “…and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.”
Third, using the passive voice is a strategic attempt to create a way to pretend she didn’t say what she actually said, but she clearly means for the government to do the changing: “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases have to be changed.” What did she just say before that statement? That laws require “political will.” She is promising to use her power as the President to change “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases.
Here is the big picture as I see it.
In 2006 Democrats were swept into power because people were sick of the Bush War on Terror and the security state. Did the Democrats do anything to rein in George W. Bush? No. They let him have a free hand. At the 2008 Republican National Convention, Fred Thompson blasted the Democrat-dominated Congress for being incredibly unpopular. The irony is that they were unpopular because they had done nothing to address the reason why they were voted into office.
In 2008, their strategy paid off. Barack Obama inherited all the unprecedented powers that Bush had assumed and then followed his trajectory far beyond anything that Bush had done.
In 2014, the voters were fed up with Barack Obama and swept the Democrats out of power in both Houses of Congress. Has Congress done anything to restrain this President with his executive orders and executive actions, with his IRS, EPA and other rogue terrorists devouring this country?
Have they defied the Cultural Revolution that Obama has pushed on homosexual marriage?
They just confirmed Loretta Lynch. The majority in Congress is completely complicit.
So the majority in both parties have one and only one game: aggrandize the Presidency without any regard for preserving a Constitutional political order. Then try to win the Presidency.
It is a dire game of steal the bacon because eventually we will come to a final turn of the game. At some point a President will come to power who is able to use the political machine to make sure the other party never wins again.
(Or perhaps I’m giving too much credit. Maybe both parties know they are better able to win for both of them if they keep the voters thinking they have a choice. My guess is that people who want power are eventually unable to see where their actions will lead. They will grab for it all.)
In the meantime, Hillary Clinton has watched what Barack Obama has been able to do with homosexuality, immigration, “environmental” regulation, and other areas. She is inspired to continue in the tradition of executive tyranny. And she plans to bring the destructive power of an unbound President to promote abortion.
How will she do it? I don’t know.
The amazing thing about Obama’s Presidency is that none of us knew that the President had all that power simply because other Presidents had never pushed it as far. Obama ended that restraint and showed us what our nation had become. Hillary Clinton has no intention of reeling in that power.
She is gunning for it. And she is gunning for those with the wrong “religious beliefs.”
