Is Valerie Jarrett Destroying Hillary Clinton?

Perhaps Valerie Jarrett leaked the story about a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of email.

Mark Horne posted, awhile back, based on a comment by Ted Cruz, that the Obama wing of the Democrat Party might be moving against Hillary Clinton. A week later he found some confirmation in the New York Post of an Obama-Clinton civil war. Valerie Jarrett was named as an instigator. The issue, in this second post, was the revealing of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

The recent report of a likely criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails brings us back to the question: Is the Obama Administration (or their sponsors) moving against Hillary Clinton? Another columnist in the New York Post thinks that is the case. Michael Godwin writes, “Hillary faces dangerous enemy in the Obama administration.”

She’s almost certainly up against the White House.

Somebody very high in the food chain leaked the memos requesting the probe. The New York Times, which broke the story, identified its source only as “a senior government official.”

My money is on Valerie Jarrett, the Obamas’ Rasputin, who is known to despise Clinton. If it was Jarrett, she would not do this against the president’s wishes.

That also would be true for any “senior government official” who leaked the memos. Targets don’t get any bigger than Hillary Clinton, so this was not a rogue operation. This was an approved hit.

I’m not sure if we should be certain that Jarrett would not do anything against the president’s wishes or if it is Obama who would not do anything against Jarrett’s wishes. But either way, I think Godwin is right. This is a unified attack.

I don’t know if this makes things better or worse for conservatives. Godwin thinks Hillary Clinton will become an obvious loser so that Democrats turn to others to fill the vacuum. He expects Joe Biden to announce for the race and thinks it is possible that Elizabeth Warren will do so as well.

It may be largely irrelevant to conservatives since their main challenge is to make sure someone who will actively stand for them will gain the Republican nomination. In the meantime, I can only hope that Clinton still has a support system and that they have some way of damaging the Obama wing of the party.
