Democrats are trying to make senate candidate Todd Akin of Missouri the poster child for everything that’s wrong with the GOP. There’s even talk about making the beleaguered Akin the focus of the Democrat convention. While I know it won’t happen, but I would like to see the GOP make abortion doctor Ron Virmani from North Carolina the poster child for the Democrats. He would be perfect.
he Democrats have made abortion rights the focus of their 2012 party platform, the Democrat convention is being held in North Carolina, and Dr. Virmani has some nasty things to say about black babies. Maybe a focus on this abortionist will wake up black America.
While the media is busy painting every psychopathic murderer as a racist, “neo-Nazi,” or right wing extremist, an abortionist claims that he’s performing public services by preventing these very types of people from being born. Doctor Virmani also claimed that he was saving taxpayers money by getting rid of these “ugly black babies” who would otherwise end up on the government’s dole. To pro-life conservatives, many of whom are Democrats who have been shut out of the Democrat convention, this kind of language is not necessarily surprising coming from an abortionist and Democrat donor.
The racist background of abortion promoters has a long history. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, said, “The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”1 She was one of eleven children and associated all sorts of social ills with having large families. She thought that if people would just keep their families limited to two children, we wouldn’t have to deal with domestic violence, poverty or unemployment. Her solution, which was shared by other eugenicists, was to curb the population rate of those who were “unfit” and “feebleminded” through the distribution of birth control and access to sterilization and eventually abortion.
She talked about ways to solve the “Negro problem” in the U.S. since she viewed them as “human weeds” and “reckless breeders.” She even thought that there were some people who were so “unfit” that they should not be allowed to have any children and should submit to forced sterilization. And in her opinion, those who chose sterilization should be rewarded.
It all sounds pretty harsh, but she was only being consistent with Darwinism and its “survival of the fittest” mentality since she viewed blacks as inferior to whites and therefore were “unfit.” For the past several decades, the Left has cleverly turned the doctrine of abortion into a woman’s rights, “my body, my choice” issue and have conveniently forgotten about the original racist agenda.
But some people, like abortion doctor Virmani, are more open and honest about it. I had a friend who was a Georgia State Representative who introduced pro-life legislation every year. He told me about a conversation he had with another representative about abortion. This representative reportedly told him, “If we criminalize abortion in Georgia, we’ll be overrun with blacks.” Every now and then, their true agenda peeks through.
The GOP needs to get into fighting shape. Be bold. Take a chance. Fight fire with fire. Expose the abortion policies of liberals by making abortion doctor Ron Virmani the face of the Democrat party. At the GOP convention, play the video of him describing how abortion gets rid of “ugly black babies.” That will take the focus off Todd Akin and make the media pundits go apoplectic.
