Obama Voters Still Don’t Get It — and They Don’t Want It

For every scrap of news that might indicate America is finally waking up to the reality of the charlatan in the Oval Office, it seems there’s something else that indicates the stupidity of the Left still has a strong hold on our country.

The Obamacare “roll-out” has been a thorough failure if ever there was one, and even the most ardent supporters of Obama at MSNBC, CNN and other outlets are hard-pressed to come up with excuses.

Obama’s poll numbers are falling, with Americans’ disapproval of his performance at more than half, and the media working hard to cover up. When Bush was receiving similar numbers, it seemed the media could talk about nothing else.

Now comes a poll that finds that, if Americans could vote again today, they might actually elect Mitt Romney.

It’s close — 49 to 45 percent Romney over Obama, among registered voters, tied 47 percent among all Americans of voting age. Factor in the electronic voting machines that record “Obama” for every other “Romney” vote, and include the precincts that vote 100 percent and up to 125 percent for Obama, and the result would probably be the same as in 2012.

In other words, the ABC poll makes a pretty good case that really we haven’t learned a damned thing.

This despite all the scandals, all the documented lies, all the proven underhanded tricks.

And the revelations just don’t stop with this Administration, which is easily the crookedest in my lifetime.

Take the screw-Israel deal Obama wanted with Iran, which has now been rejected by Congress, our allies and everyone else with an ounce of grey matter in their skull. Obama’s still seeking a sweetheart deal with a country that wants to destroy Western civilization. Why? Because it turns out his Iranian-born puppet master, Valerie Jarrett, has secretly been negotiating with the Iranians since at least summer.

You’d think there might be some concern about this Administration’s links to foreign governments and the Muslim Brotherhood when we were so recently at war because of al-Qaeda, but there’s nary a peep.

Then there’s Obamacare, which is failing spectacularly. Even the most ardent Obama boot-kissers are twisting hard to find some way to make it look like Obama didn’t lie (some 28 times on video) about Americans being able to keep their health care. More than 5 million people already have lost their insurance, and a total of 93 million are expected to lose their plans before Obamacare is done. Even Democratic senators are beginning to admit they knew about the fallout when they voted for the bill.

A report this week says that the Census Bureau fabricated data that it fed to the Bureau of Labor Statistics to artificially lower the unemployment numbers before the 2012 elections. Again, where is the outrage?

It seems at least half of the voters in this country remain thoroughly in thrall to the artificial reality pumped out by the Administration and media.

Obamacare, ironically, might be the ultimate solution to breaking the spell over Obama’s zombie hordes as it’s the only thing that’s made a dent in his popularity. Even there, the outcome is doubtful.

Jessica Sanford from Washington state was cited by Obama in a speech on October 21 as an Obamacare “success story,” and he read her email thanking him for the wonderful affordable insurance. Within days of that speech, CNN reports, Sanford began receiving mail from the Washington state health exchange telling her first that her Obamacare tax credit would be reduced, then that her credit was zero.

After 15 years without insurance, Sanford had been excited about having coverage, but now she says she realizes she can’t afford it and will continue going without.

“It was a huge disappointment,” Sanford told CNN, “especially since I had, you know, my story had been shared by the president. I felt like, you know, I just felt really embarrassed that, you know, he quoted my story and then come to find that the Washington health plan finder, the website here in our state, had grossly miscalculated or they’re having a problem figuring their tax credits. and so at least for right now, I don’t — I’m not going to be getting insurance.”

Even after admitting what happened to her, Sanford is still deflecting for Obama, blaming the Washington health website rather than the president who bears the ultimate responsibility for orchestrating the health care fiasco.

It evidently takes a direct hit to the wallet before the tiniest bit of light even begins to break through the liberal darkness for some voters, but even then they’re still willfully blind.

If the day ever does come that the scales fall from the eyes of Obama voters, embarrassment is the least of the emotions they should be feeling.
