While most blogs are built in the office, we came up with the idea after a few beers.

We’ve all been there where we’ve had a few beers, cocktails, or glasses of wine, and discussions around politics become a bit heated. This might have been with friends, family, or coworkers where passionate views have been shared across the table.
Anyways, back to our blog’s birth story.
Hi there, my name is Sarah, and I’ve been working in the field of International relations for two decades. Recently, my friends and I decided we want to do more to help American communities by going beyond our field of work and setting up this blog.
The reason being is that I started to realize that so many people don’t know their rights or have basic knowledge when it comes to politics. Similarly, the amount of politics that we read is heavily polarized and biased towards one political view.
During the pandemic, I had a lot of spare time on lockdown, and reading a lot of these types of blogs made me incredibly sad and frustrated.
I know I needed to do something.
After some weeks dwelling on the sites I read, I realized I could turn this into a positive one. But that positive change didn’t happen till that drunken conversation!
My friends and I shared the same opinions and experiences from lockdown. This is why we decided to create a new outlet to share this varied information with you. But instead of just keeping the writers to my social circle and me, we decided we could reach a wider community with other political driven individuals on this blog.
What we’re about
While my friends and I might be the initial founders, we have a team that works with us from all parts of the country. Like us, they’re obsessed with devoting their professional life and free time to write a range of cool politics-based articles.
We’re constantly adding to our team of writers too! We believe in the people and feel you don’t have to have a range of degrees to write about politics; as long as you’re open to being corrected, then it’s ok. Everyone starts somewhere! You can expect to find interviews from political candidates, students, professionals, and much more on our site.
Do note we may post content that is experimental, controversial and shareable. But more or less, we want to post reliable content and of a high value. We care about writing content that matters!
Our broad approach
Most blogs you find online will strive their best to narrate their political views and weave them secretly into the text. But for us, we try to sit on the fence as much as possible; we care about you making up your own mind. If we do have an opinion-based post, we will tag it and say what type of politics it is to allow you to give you the opposition to read it or not.
There are no hidden agendas with us! We care about writing meaningful stuff.
Plus, it gets quite irritating reading articles that you know are trying to sway you towards a different political viewpoint. That’s why here you can expect to find content consisting of:
