Sen. Dianne Feinstein Says ‘It’s Legal to Hunt Humans’

Every time a Democrat opens his or her mouth, absurdities come forth in large chunks. There was the Maxine Waters claim that 170 million people would lose their jobs if the budget sequester was enacted.

Democrat Hank Johnson was worried that too many soldiers on Guam would tip the island over.
There are enough Bidenisms to fill a small book. Here’s one of my favorites where Biden is speaking about the mother of Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen:

“His mom lived in Long Island for ten years or so. God rest her soul. And- although, she’s . . . wait . . . your mom’s still . . . your mom’s still alive. Your dad passed. God bless her soul.”

Even so, Democrats keep getting re-elected. These are the people running our country and leading the Republicans around by the nose. We saw this first-hand when Sen. John McCain and Lindsey Graham went after constitutional stalwarts from their own party who called out the Obama Administration on hunting human beings with drones.

The latest Democrat misstatement was made by Dianne Feinstein:

“The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices, those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet it’s legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines. Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload that the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.”

The last time I checked, it’s never been legal in America to hunt humans, with one round or 150 rounds. In fact, it’s illegal to hunt humans with your bare hands, a baseball bat, a knife, or an automobile.

Are we to believe that criminals care about laws against hunting humans? Ms. Feinstein, the reason why Second Amendment-loving Americans want to purchase large capacity magazines is because (1) it’s our right, (2) because criminals will get what’s illegal no matter how many laws you intend to pass, and (3) a day may come when the citizens of the United States will need to protect themselves from criminal and terrorist elements that neither the police not the National Guard will be able to defend against.

That day may never come, but there is too much history out there where people said, “It can’t happen here; it can’t happen to us,” and it did happen there, and it did happen to them.

People don’t insure their health, their cars, their homes, their property, and their life because they know something is going to happen; they buy insurance in case something happens.

So please, Ms. Feinstein, if you are going to try to make a case about anything, use arguments that make sense. You may think that we’re not informed, but we are. We’re a whole lot smarter than you give us credit for being.

Moreover, we’re not the ones killing people. It’s the criminal element you need to worry about, and they don’t pay attention to your laws. That’s why they’re criminals.
