Newborn Shoved Down Toilet Makes International News; Planned Parenthood Still Federally Funded

The story of the baby wedged in the toilet comes to us from the mainstream news outlet, CNN: “Newborn baby pulled alive from toilet in Beijing.” Police are searching for the mother of a newborn baby girl found wedged face-down in a Beijing toilet on Sunday. Residents heard cries from a public toilet block and notified police, according to the Beijing Times. “Her head was upside down and her body was falling into the drain. We could only vaguely see her feet from the side,” Qian Feng, the local Read more […]

Flipping Houses Shows Elizabeth Warren is a Hypocrite

Elizabeth Warren has condemned house-flipping and profiting from foreclosures; but she built wealth by doing it. As you will know if you read this blog the other day, I pretty much despise the National Review as a pseudo-conservative traitor rag. But I can’t deny this story about Elizabeth Warren’s house-flipping career in the nineties is quite fun to read: “Elizabeth Warren Bought Foreclosed Homes to Make a Quick Profit.” There is nothing intrinsically wrong with what Elizabeth Warren Read more […]

The Hypocritical Education President

Barack Obama plays the education president by extolling school for children but fights school choice and uses private school. Here is how President Barack Obama’s weekly address began on Saturday (including the introductory explanation): In this week’s address, the President reiterated his commitment to expanding access to education, and to spreading the joy of reading to more children and young adults.  Earlier this week the President announced two new efforts that, building on the progress Read more […]

MSNBC Tax-the-Rich Propagandists Owe Taxes

Funny how people who constantly complain that taxes aren’t high enough for “the rich” don’t seem to be able to pay their own. From Jillian Kay Melchior at the National Review: “MSNBC’s Touré Has the Taxman on His Case.” Touré Neblett, co-host of MSNBC’s The Cycle, owes more than $59,000 in taxes, according to public records reviewed by National Review. In September 2013, New York issued a state tax warrant to Neblett and his wife, Rita Nakouzi, for $46,862.68. Six months Read more […]

Mozilla Purge: The Hypocrisy of Liberals Increases When They Accuse Conservatives of Hypocrisy

If you want to see how unaware and self-absorbed liberals are, take a look at Mark Joseph Stern’s “The Astonishing Conservative Hypocrisy Over Mozilla And The First Amendment” at Slate. I’ll skip to the heart of the matter first: Oddly, however, I don’t see defenders of Eich also criticizing the Boy Scouts for excluding gay men because the organization disagrees with their conduct and beliefs. Nor do I even see conservatives taking Mozilla’s rights as a private corporation seriously—a Read more […]

Teachable Moment: Unions Pay Low Wages To Protest Low Wages

Remember all those people agitating for more unemployment and/or inflation last Thursday? Turns out, many (most? all?) of the ones who didn’t show up for work were getting paid. From CNN Money: Karina McClain, a cashier at fast food chain Checkers in New York City, didn’t show up for her shift on Thursday. Instead, the 22-year-old joined about 100 other people outside of a Brooklyn Wendy’s restaurant calling for an hourly wage increase to $15 an hour. She was holding a sign that read “Raise Read more […]

Responsible Homeowner Stops Thief With A Shotgun

The house of Paul Cavazos and his girlfriend Heidi had been burglarized twice by the same thief, and it almost happened a third time. The thief’s latest attempt at stealing someone’s TV was caught on their security camera just outside their front door. In the footage, you can clearly see the burglar with a flat screen TV being quickly pursued by Paul bolting out his front door with a shotgun aimed right at the thief. The perpetrator compliantly places the TV down, and Paul is seen instructing Read more […]
