Learning the Wrong Lesson about Porn Viewers

The fact that porn viewers are more likely to claim feminism doesn’t vindicate porn but exposes how feminism is about exploiting women. Even though Reason has become insufferable lately over transgender “rights” and same-sex “marriage,” I was still surprised at how naïve they are regarding new claims about porn viewers: “People Who Watch Porn Hold More Feminist Views.” People might debate whether it’s a chicken or egg effect, but it’s often taken for granted that men who watch Read more […]

Laptop Porn for Kids on Federal Government Computers

Federal worker brought computers home from the job and let her kids watch laptop porn, then defended her decision. Bob Allen has written about how government employees caught wasting countless hours on porn at work are allowed to keep their jobs. The fact that Congress has felt the need to pass a law to halt the Federal worker porn habit tells you that it is a serious problem. So here is more evidence from the Washington Post: “Commerce official let her kids watch porn on federal computers, Read more […]

Russell Brand on Fifty Shades of Grey and Porn Culture

I never expected to like anything by Russell Brand but this is brilliant. There is bad language in the video below, which I wish Brand would bleep out (or not use in the first place). But it is an amazing video. I never would have watched it because I think of Brand as a fool. But in this case he shows real wisdom. Sadly, Brand knows all too well that porn can distort men and women and their sexual relationships. [See also, “Why Spend Education Dollars Exposing Students to Porn?”] (Yes he Read more […]

Killer Suing Prison Over Porn Ban; Might Win

A porn ban for Connecticut prisons might get overturned by prisoner’s lawsuit. WFSB 3 Connecticut If we applied the death penalty to all murder, we wouldn’t have to deal with this! What makes this case a threat is that the plaintiff is being wise and not arguing for the right to view X-rated videos. He is arguing for access to an “art book” that contains a collection of nude models. According to Associated Press, Dwight Pink Jr., 44, says in the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Read more […]

Federal Employee Still Paid by EPA after Porn Scandal

As a friend of mine said: Here is proof positive that it takes an act of Congress to fire a worthless Federal employee. The guy spent up to three fourths of his day surfing porn… and you and I are still paying his grossly inflated salary and benefits. From the Washington Post: “Making it plain on porn?” In May, the Environmental Protection Agency’s inspector general disclosed that a senior-level employee was caught spending as much as six hours of his days looking at porn. The IG Read more […]

Another Common Core Porn Book Recommended Reading For High Schoolers

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about a pornographic book that was recommended as an exemplar text reading material for 11th graders by the Common Core Standards.  That text was The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison.  This book was written from the point of a view of a person who enjoyed raping young girls.  It glorified rape, pedophilia and incest. Morrison’s book was so sexually explicit that I refused to reprint some of the excerpts that I saw.  As I said then, it made Lady Chatterley look tame Read more […]

Wikipedia ignoring rampant porn problem

Fox News reports that online powerhouse, Wikipedia, is not expressing interest in filtering software that would enable the site to block pornographic images. NetSpark, an Israeli company that specializes in filtering technology, has contacted Wikipedia several times to offer them their “smart” software at a heavy discount, perhaps even free, but parent company Wikimedia has thus far not responded. Marketing Manager for NetSpark, Sarah Minchom, says: “It seems like it’s not a priority for Read more […]
