There Are More Reports of a Clinton Obama War

New York Post claims Obama’s Chief of Staff started email scandal as part of Clinton Obama War.

I’d love to say this is confirming proof of my suspicion that the Clinton email scandal was started by the Obama White House. It seems obvious but that’s not the same as saying that there is proof.

A week ago I responded to Ted Cruz’s claim that the prosecution of Bob Menendez was politically motivated. Cruz claimed that Menendez’s challenge to the Obama Administration on the issue of Iran was the reason for his legal troubles. But it seemed to me, if Menendez’s prosecution was politically motivated, that a much more compelling reason would be that Menendez was closely associated with the Clintons.

In line with this hypothesis, Edward Klein is now reporting in the New York Post that Valerie Jarrett was the person responsible to leaking to the media about Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett leaked to the press details of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail address during her time as secretary of state, sources tell me.

But she did so through people outside the administration, so the story couldn’t be traced to her or the White House.

In addition, at Jarrett’s behest, the State Department was ordered to launch a series of investigations into Hillary’s conduct at Foggy Bottom, including the use of her expense account, the disbursement of funds, her contact with foreign leaders and her possible collusion with the Clinton Foundation.

Six separate probes into Hillary’s performance have been going on at the State Department. I’m told that the e-mail scandal was timed to come out just as Hillary was on the verge of formally announcing that she was running for president — and that there’s more to come.

Members of Bill Clinton’s camp say the former president suspects the White House is the source of the leak and is furious.

The problem with this “vast left-wing conspiracy” theory is that it seems to all come from the Clintons.  As the Blaze points out,

There was no indication in the Post’s story that Jarrett — or the White House — was contacted for comment regarding the allegations. TheBlaze could not independently verify the claims.

So while the story rings true, we also might be dealing with some paranoia on the part of the Clintons. Perhaps blaming their rivals is just based on guesswork. Even if they are using educated guesswork, we still need real confirmation.

Also, at points it sounds like the Clintons are pushing out a message that is designed to appeal to Republicans:

“Obama and Valerie Jarrett will go to any lengths to prevent Hillary from becoming president,” a source close to the White House told me. “They believe that Hillary, like her husband, is left of center, not a true-blue liberal.”

If she gets into the White House, they believe she will compromise with the Republicans in Congress and undo Obama’s legacy.

This all may be true, but we need more confirmation to be sure.

However, if the New York Post got their information from reliable Clinton sources, then we do have confirmation that there is a genuine political war going on between the Clintons and the Obamas.

Hopefully, they will both destroy one another.

PS: At 8:30am this morning I was directed to this story in the Washington Times: “State asked if White House ordered Clinton probes, refers question to White House.”

The State Department declined to comment Sunday on whether senior White House aide Valerie Jarrett had ordered the federal agency to launch a series of probes into former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, as the New York Post has reported.

“The Department of State refers you to the White House regarding questions about Ms. Jarrett,” an agency press official told The Washington Times Sunday night.

For its part, the White House did not respond to requests from the Times for comment about that issue or about whether Ms. Jarrett was in any way involved in leaking to the media the information for a week of embarrassing stories about Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server.
