When Liberals claim they are against profiling, they are only opposed to the use of reason. Stupid stereotypes that serve liberal fantasies are fine with them.
Wow. Listen to and watch what happens as soon as this witness tells Andrea Mitchell (at about 44 seconds in) that Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez “obviously” was “devout,” and that he was Muslim and that he or his sister (I’m not clear which or both) “always talked about religion.” Mitchell’s next question to Valerie Levitt, who knew Abdulazeez and his sister in high shool, is so agenda-driven it could pilot a drone to a Yemeni wedding party.
(Note: It looks like the network is trying to stop the story by removing the video “on copyright grounds”)
Truth Revolt transcribes the exchange:
“Were guns a big part of activities—social or other activities?” Mitchell asked Levitt suddenly.
“What?” the confused Levitt responded.
“What about – did he hunt, did he shoot?” Mitchell prodded. “I mean, was that just part of small-town Tennessee activity?”
“Um, he actually wasn’t one of the guys I heard about going hunting,” Abdulazeez’s classmate responded. “He wasn’t really that kind of guy.”
(Since the video has now been censored, here is a second witness.)
If you watch the video you will clearly witness that Levitt is indeed confused by the question. She has no idea why it would be considered.
But when Mitchell heard Islam mentioned she spontaneously had to divert attention to what she condescendingly considers “small-town Tennessee activity” as an explanation for Abdulazeez’s murder of five members of the U.S. military.
I’m pretty sure this profiling question was a spontaneous response from Mitchell. If she had used any strategic thinking, she would have realized that drawing attention to “small-town Tennessee” only makes the contrast between that culture and Islam-driven homicides all the more obvious. She made herself and her cause look really stupid by trying to drive the questions in that direction. In other words, she exposed herself and her cause for the superstitions and fantasies that keep her Liberal world view intact.
There are occasionally terrorists who aren’t Islamic. I think Dylann Roof counts as one with his murder of the Christians in Charleston, South Carolina. But the numbers and percentages are vastly different. “small-town Tennessee” simply doesn’t generate the same numbers of violent killers that Islam does. I take no pleasure in stating the fact, but it is a fact.
Rush Limbaugh was right last week: this spoof is now the mainstream news:
FEMALE ANCHOR: Six men have just been charged with conspiracy to murder in connection with a plot to blow up buses and subway cars in London during the summer of 2005.
MALE ANCHOR: The six would-be suicide bombers charged are Muktar Said Abraham, Ramzi Muhammed, Yasin Omar, Manfu Asiedu, Adel Yahya, and Hussain Osman.
FEMALE ANCHOR: Since their capture, the big question for Scotland Yard has been, “What exactly is it that links these six individuals? What common denominator motivated this seemingly random group of young men?”
MALE ANCHOR: It is puzzling, isn’t it?
Once again, the modern, Liberal world is becoming too insane to satirize.
