An unborn child must not be referred to by a White House prepared to veto any law protecting even born babies from murder.
Here’s the headline from the Washington Post a couple of days ago: “White House staffer killed on charity bike ride remembered as ‘epitome of a public servant’”
A day after a White House staffer died in a cycling accident while raising money for cancer, his wife released a heart-felt tribute to her husband on Instagram that recalled his optimism and selflessness.
“I don’t have to tell most of you how wonderful he was,” Mary Katharine Ham wrote about her late husband, Jake Thomas Brewer, 34. “It was self-evident. His life was his testimony, and it was powerful and tender and fierce, with an ever-present twinkle in the eye. I will miss him forever, even more than I can know right now.”
Brewer is listed on the White House Web site as a senior policy adviser in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. He was killed Saturday when his bicycle went out of control at a sharp curve on Old Frederick Road in Maryland. It crossed the double yellow line and collided with an oncoming vehicle, police said. Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the 2008 Honda Pilot was not injured, police said.
At the time, Brewer was participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a two-day cycling event aimed at raising money for cancer-treatment programs.
Brewer’s political ideology is not addressed but one assumes he had enough Liberal bona fides to work with the Obama White House. His wife is known for some conservative leanings.
What is really odd (to me) about the Washington Post headline is that it never mentions that Mary Katherine Ham is pregnant. It also leaves out the first thing she wrote in her Instagram tribute: “We lost our Jake yesterday, and I lost part of my heart and the father of my sweet babies.” My emphasis.
We lost our Jake yesterday, and I lost part of my heart and the father of my sweet babies. I don’t have to tell most of you how wonderful he was. It was self-evident. His life was his testimony, and it was powerful and tender and fierce, with an ever-present twinkle in the eye. I will miss him forever, even more than I can know right now. No arms can be her father’s, but my daughter is surrounded by her very favorite people and all the hugs she could imagine. This will change us, but with prayer and love and the strength that is their companion, we can hope our heartache is not in vain– that it will change us and the world in beautiful ways, just as he did. If that sounds too optimistic at this time, it’s because it is. But there was no thought too optimistic for Jake, so take it and run with it. I will strive and pray not to feel I was cheated of many years with him, but cherish the gift of the years I had. In a life where nothing is guaranteed, Jake made the absolute, ever-lovin’ most of his time with all of us. This is a family picture we took a couple weeks ago. It was taken because Jake, as always, was ready with a camera and his immense talent. All four members of our little, growing family are in it. I can never be without him because these babies are half him. They are made of some of the strongest, kindest stuff God had to offer this world. Please pray that he can see us and we’ll all make him proud. God, I love him. Psalm 34:18, Philippians 1:3
Even odder than the Washington Post article, was the Obama Administration’s tribute:
— The White House (@WhiteHouse) September 20, 2015
Notice that next-to-last sentence: “Michelle and I are praying for all of Jake’s family and his many friends, mort of all his wife, Mary Katharine Ham, their daughter, Georgia, and their growing family.”
So now the official politically-correct lexicon forbids terms like “unborn child” or “soon-to-be-born baby.” There are no babies anymore—not in the womb, anyway.
It is easy to figure out why the Obama Administration has developed this anti-baby Newspeak. Barack Obama not only believes in abortion but he believes it should be legal to kill babies who are born. He has promised to veto a law that simply acknowledges that babies who are born are supposed to not be killed either actively or passively. As Live Action News shows us, we must allow born babies to be murdered because prosecuting infant homicides would result in “limiting women’s health care choices.” This from the man who took away from us the choice of doctor and insurance plans, while lying through his teeth in order to ambush us.
I am not naïve. It doesn’t surprise me that a President is a lying, homicidal sociopath. It is virtually a requirement for the office now. But no President has done more to degrade the basic human right affirmed in the Declaration of Independence and to bring back the eugenicist, Nazi “ethic” in this nation.
If you want to be reminded how normal people view their pregnancies, here is the latest blog entry from Mary Katharine Ham: “How Big is my Baby? The Fruit-to-Fast-Food Conversion Chart You’ve Always Wanted.”
Every pregnant woman has been there. You’ve just found out you’re expecting and you stumble on one of those “How Big is My Baby?” lists, informing you just how big your little bundle is from week to week. Each of these lists is seemingly required to be composed almost entirely of obscure seeds, fruits, and vegetables of whose size you are quite uncertain, some of which you can barely look at, let alone stomach, while pregnant. This list is different. This is a pregnant woman’s list, for pregnant women, by a pregnant woman. This is how big your baby is in junk foods. Enjoy, and I apologize in advance for triggering cravings you have to run out and satisfy today!
Who would have thought such a whimsical blog entry (and food photography display) would be an anti-Obama statement? I’m sure that wasn’t Ham’s intent. But when you are a baby-killing monster and a champion for organ trafficking, even innocuous snippets of everyday life become rebukes to your anti-human crusade.
